Judging from the other posts, my son and I must have run across the only rude fans Arkansas had to offer. We were the only green in a sea of red walking from the parking area. A group of guys across the street yelled at us and said, "Get the f*** out of here." I didn't know what to say to my 10 year old other than some people are sore winners just like some people are sore losers. After the game some frat boys also yelled at us but it was more of a "HA HA" type of comments and not cursing. The rest of the Hogs fans were really nice though. Many people smiled at us and said hello. A couple even wished us well on the trip home, so all in all, a pretty good group of people. Since I live almost 5 hours away from Denton, I have never gotten to go to the tailgate area, ( I barely make it in time for kick-off)or socialize much with other GMG fans, even though I've been a season ticket holder for 4 years. The Arkansas game was the first time I went to the tents and that was only because we walked right up to them on the way to the stadium. (And after just having been cussed at, the green tents were like an oasis) I was really glad to see other Texas fans at that point. My "baby-daddy" and his wife are well known to GMG though, so I've heard lots of nice things. No one at the tents talked to me but that may have been because I was talking to the ex, and not introducing myself. Speaking strictly as an outsider, I hate it that long-time fans don't rally around each other. With the season going like it is, it seems like we would draw together now, more than ever. Not that any of this really matters, its just my thoughts on things.

A lot of the football players read this board. Calling them crappy is certainly not going to motivate them.

Ok, what the hell are Jorts? and is there any truth to the notion that parking is a problem at SMU? I have never been to the stadium but I am told that parking is very limited. Also, while I'm asking... where will the UNT tailgating be located?

If all the players liked the black uniforms, why did they say "How do you like our prison uniforms?" on the field after the game. The truth is, the players didn't like the black uniforms any more than the rest of us. And on top of that, they weren't even real jerseys. The real jerseys didn't get finished so someone locally made these on the spur of the moment. That's why the numbers were iron-on and nobody's name was on them. Classless, HA. DD would have to step up on this one to be considered classless.

This is the stupidest topic I've seen yet on this board. How about some constructive criticism, something for the players to work on, instead of busting their chops?? Especially with the coaching (or lack of) they've had. Even great players would only be mediocre if they didn't have a great coach who knows how to best teach and coach that particular player. I hope to God the players who read this board don't get anymore discouraged than they must already be, and give up completely. This sucks.

Why are there at least 5 different UNT cameras on the field and they only put out 6 pictures? Where are all the oher pics?

I'll take Burruss #89. He's big and mean and apparently tough as hell after playing spring ball with a brand new plate and screws in that broken arm. IMHO he doesn't get enough time on the field. I think he's someone to watch.

You've got to be kidding me. Have you ever been to a cockfight? It's not any more barbaric than what they do in slaughter houses. Are you a PETA person on an inside job here? or what? Besides that, its a cultural thing, like hunting, fishing, etc.

So if UNT-Dallas is Division II, does that mean it will be a farm team for the real UNT?
