  1. No one can say that the OOC record is something a school of our size should find acceptable. No one can say that our athletic endowment, booster club numbers, or season ticket numbers are something that a school half our size should find acceptable.
  2. You can demand all you want. Unless you are willing to put up what is needed, it won't do any good.
  3. Here's the truth behind those numbers: Before DD we lost in 1AA. Now we win in 1A.
  4. I guess sarcasm does not work on the internet. Landry was a great coach, and he did not need to yell and scream.
  5. That is why I never liked Landry, he was so disspassionate you could tell he didn't care about the Cowboys.
  6. The DD haters have blinders on, and do not consider what happens if we have two or more losing seasons under a new coach. Plus they will not look at the last several decades and realze that our average coaches won 5.1 games a year in 1AA since 81 and DD has won 7.2 games a year in 1Asince 2001.
  7. Teaching Math In 1950 A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price. What is his profit? Teaching Math In 1960 A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is 4/5 of the price, or $80. What is his profit? Teaching Math In 1970 A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80. Did he make a profit? Teaching Math In 1980 A logger sells a truckload of lumber for $100. His cost of production is $80 and his profit is $20. Your assignment: Underline the number 20. Teaching Math In 1990 By cutting down beautiful forest trees, the logger makes $20. What do you think of this way of making a living? Topic for class participation after answering the question: How did the forest birds and squirrels feel as the logger cut down the trees. (There are no wrong answers.)
  8. It's sad to see some people revel in our defeats. I guess they would rather crow about being right, than have our team succeed.
  9. Joker: I think I was trying to suggest something about the duality of man sir. Colonel: The what? Joker: The duality of man, the Jungian thing, sir. Colonel: Who's side are you on, son? Joker: Our side, sir. Colonel: Don't you love your country? Joker: Yes, sir. Colonel: Well how about getting with the program? Why don't you jump on the team and c'mon in for the big win? Joker: Yes, sir. Colonel: Son, all I've ever asked of my Marines is for them to obey my orders as they would the word of God. We are here to help the Vietnamese because inside every *word you cant say on GMG.com*, there is an American trying to get out. It's a hardball world, son. We've got to try to keep our heads until this peace craze blows over. Joker: Aye aye, sir.
