Last time I had a chance to get on to the board there was a post that had cancelled the GMG Bowl. Aside from the turf burn, the fact that I can barely move my legs oh and not to mention the fact that my face looks like a tomato....I had a great time!!! UNT88 Positives: I use to play football for the Mean Green I was a tight end . I use to run a 4.5 40 yard dash. I currently play for a flag league in Grapevine well it is getting started in the spring. I am a good receiver and a good snapper. Negatives: I am older, no longer run a 4.5, less athletic oh and getting fat...I have not played any sport for about 6 months so pretty rusty. Career Highlights: 10 city championships in flag football and all I have are the t-shirts to show for it, 2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in college 1- MTSAC - JUCO FOOTBALL & 1 - cheerleading here at this wonderful University. UNO has the toughest road ahead playing 1112 and then finishing off with NT if they go on to win they will most def be deserving.

NT should be in great shape for first in the west with 3 of the last 5 games being against the bottom of the SBC. With the top 4 west teams playing against each other there is going to be some shake up... ...thoughts

Tebow a system QB...How good of a pro will he be? I vote Colt, Tim has (if he stays) a few more Heisman chances. Take Tim out you still have a 9-3 Florida team. Take Colt out you have a less than average team. No Colt they lose to San Jose and Boise and Washington for sure and possibly Fresno. He is the best QB is the nation. Stats and record show that. Tim Tebow will be the best college football player ever to step on the field by the time he finishes his career. If he does stay the 4 years he could have 3 Heismans. It is sad Colt takes the Warriors to 12-0 and gets no shot at National Title and he is not going to win the Heisman because he is not BCS that is bull. Like most of the fans here I am a fan only because of association. I am a transplant from California and yes I grew up a USC fan but I now bleed Green. I gave 2yrs of my life to UNT and I wouldn't change it for anything. I have the best friends that anyone could ask for and I got a wife all from UNT. I have been here 10yrs I am am not going anywhere. I am looking forward to the future of NORTH TEXAS but for now I am going to sit back and yes my gut is going to hurt with each loss but I am going to enjoy each day that I can cheer for the MEAN GREEN!! It is the least I can do for what I got out of here!!!!!!!

I have made one request to Mandy, there needs to be a better way into the blue lot. I got in through the yellow/green security guard (this is the easiest way to the blue from 35) but not after having to put him on the phone with Mandy. IMO (this is coming from 35)they need to go ahead and let the blue lot passes come in the front between The Turtle shell and The Gateway Center and not have to go all the way around through campus just to get stuck in the orange lot line that was sold out. This was all around 3:00 well before the game. See what you can get done I just got a "I'll make a note"...

There are a certain number of plays that a player can play in the first year. Anything over that number of timed downs and they will lose their red shirt. I am not sure but it use to be number of timed downs or (minutes played not sure) in conference play that were determined whether a redshirt could be used. They may have changed it and it is calculated from timed down number one. Still looking for the actual NCAA rule.
