Word I got was that Dr. Smatresk would not allow it for fear of covid. Not sure if that is true or not but sad to hear they won't make it. We have a much better sounding band to me.

I don't remember what number Wren quoted us but it seemed to be very reasonable for what you get. The buffet is fantastic and we love having access to the full bar. Last game it was fantastic as we were able to avoid the heat. We have made lifetime friends with our neighbors who have the seats behind us.

We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. It's crazy how these viruses come in and disrupt our lives and jobs. My good friend just passed away but he did not get the vaccine. I was so sad for him and his family. I hope some day we can live in a world where these viruses can be eliminated or at least contained. God bless you and we will miss you on Saturday!

The 1959 North Texas State Eagles won their first 8 games including a 12-0 victory over the Wichita Shockers at Fouts Field in Denton. The Eagles finished 9-2 and played in the Sun Bowl. Star running back Abner Haynes finished 7th in the nation in rushing. Haynes and teammate Leon King were the first African-Americans to play college football in the state of Texas when they played for North Texas in 1956. Haynes went on to a remarkable career with the Kansas City Chiefs and his number was retired in 1988. His number 28 is also retied by North Texas. MEGALOCKS Outlook:
This just might be CRAP OR GET OFF THE POT time for Seth Littrell. They showed promise a few years ago with back-to-back nine-win campaigns but have stubbed their toes the last two seasons. They look to have one of the better offenses in C-USA yet again but thinking about that defense keeps us up at night. The high-water mark is probably bowl eligibility by the skin of their teeth.

The Flames previously played at Southwest Texas State (now known as Texas State), SMU and Baylor. The Mean Green obliterated the Flames 47-7 in a 2018 matchup in Lynchburg that featured a lengthy lightning delay during the game.

I don’t have an opinion one way or the other but didn’t the governor say we didn’t have to wear one if we were vaccinated? Isn’t he the law of the state? This whole thing is so confusing!
