Fuente and Dickey at NT? Helluva reunion story on many fronts. Would be wild if DD convinced Fuente to bring Flanagan in from SMU. Man, I’d be at the 50yd line 1st game no doubt about it. Imagine the insanity that would ensue from the alumni side.

Before the G.D. Bowl game I hope!! That way on national TV recruits can hear them say “Gary Patterson is taking over the North Texas program”. Or something like that. Obviously, not gonna be Patterson but you get the idea….

I was 100% against the Teflon Todd hire. Then he brought in his high school staff and became the worst ncaa coach in history. Racism accusations also hit the program at that time. He was a total embarrassment to the university. If anyone stole money from UNT it was him.

Don't feel too bad, dude was highest paid coach in CUSA. It's a tough business but a good one as you command insane salaries. Good luck to Seth. Oklahoma alums apparently want him back "home" so bad for stupid ol' UNT for firing him. I'm sure he'll have plenty of options.

Took the program to the next step, just didn’t take a big enough step. He was given all the resources to succeed but couldn’t quite make it work. That winning streak last year delayed the inevitable.
