Did he keep his receipt from the FIU game? Because he just went from Target in week 1 to Walmart in week 2. I fully expect he'll be in Dollar General in week 3 then Goodwill by week 4...........

If NT goes 0-12 Smatty better put his boot up the AD & HC asses as he punts them both out the door. I don't think NT goes 0-12 but 2-10 or 3-9 are just as bad, IMO.

The play by play tv dudes kept mentioning that Morris told them that the players hadn't "bought in" yet and that is on him. Then they later said that Morris mentioned the vets didn't buy in. So. That is concerning, no?
Unacceptable. Players should be ready to run through a wall for their coaches.

Hey Hey! Finally, made a list!

Dr.Pohl was right when he said Athletics is the window for the University. I guarantee you if NT truly invested in Football, alumni would give back. With the shift in the college football landscape from the NIL to conference realignment, NT is being left behind.

Prime has major swag and charisma which is huge in recruiting. Jason has none of that. I’m sure he’s a good guy but Deion could sell ice to an Eskimo.

Lol @ Seth with a burner account. He’s earned the right to rub it in considering Easy E had the team looking clueless out there.

Is this defense statistically as bad as those Mendoza defenses under Teflon Todd?

What kind of heat are you expecting? A Twitter army? A phone call barrage?
Smatty threatening to put a size 12 up his ass.

Stone wasn’t even a 3rd stringer under Seth. Rogers better play the year out from here. He has legitimate FBS starts under his belt.

Why is the AD not getting any heat for this???

I am just asking, but does anyone actually think that Mosley inherited any talent here? Any preseason AAC all conference picks? A returning defense better than last years? Littrell didn't leave much behind, which is why he was fired. At the age of 80 I am not excited about a ground up rebuild over the next few years ,which I may never see the conclusion of ,but that's where it appears we are. I know some of us are very frustrated about out disappointing start, as am I, but making a coaching change after only 2 games seems an over reaction. Just an old man's opinion.
So Seth took a bunch of players with him? How could this coaching staff not see a lack of talent (as you say) and not hit the Xfer portal hard? Don’t try to deflect blame where it absolutely should be directed towards. This coaching staff completely botched the off season and have been severely outcoached in 2 games. Both teams were bottom feeders last year. Eazy E gets the blame 100%.

Rogers needs to start the rest of the season and the DC should be demoted. Hopefully, Eazy E has the balls to do that. What a freakin’ disaster this year has become.

Seems like we hired another coach with a steep learning curve. Eazy E was not ready for the big time and this off season absolutely shows that.
-
This was not a rebuilding year. Seth couldn’t get NT out of being an average program. Eric Morris was supposed to help this program take the next step. Instead, Eazy E has done nothing but tanked the program. The AD should be demanding answers this morning. 😡

Somewhere around $5000, with a few Wal-Mart gift cards and McDonald's gift certificates thrown in.
UNT's endowment is $300 million. SMU spanks us there. We suck....

Maybe Morris had teh Buick's old gameplan when playing P5 schools - come out, half ass it, and come away with no injuries. Save yourself for conference play when it counted. You MFers.....

Hard to see some of that stuff live. Watching a TV replay with the ability to rewind really helps just as it does for the players and staff.
Stone made some great throws. He also had a couple near great throws. He had some reads that could have been better. I recall a 3rd down play in the 2nd quarter where Maclin and I believe Isaiah Johnson are both wide-open (Maclin underneath and Johnson to his right going towards the sideline) and instead he throws an incomplete pass in coverage to the middle of the field. Same with a couple times where he climbed the pocket and found himself with open field between him and the nearest linebacker but instead of using his legs, he threw an incomplete pass. On one hand I'm glad he's not just bailing the passing game but on the other hand the focus needs to be converting 3rd downs unless somebody is wide-open down field. That stuff will be corrected by watching film but for a QB making his first FBS start and first start in 2 years, I think there's reason to be optimistic he'll quickly improve.
Couldn't crack the lineup under Seth. Does that worry you?

Let’s be honest, football is years away. All he has to do is keep basketball rolling and that will keep the fanbase content for now. Eric deserves more than a year to rebuild the mess Seth left us with.
Mess??? This wasn’t a full rebuild. I guess we’ll have to see what happens the next 2 weeks.

To Teflon Todd’s credit, he coached his career at NT thinking he wasn’t an idiot when we all clearly knew he was. Morris just admitted to being an idiot 2 games in! Holy crap, the incompetence just runs too deep.
