Going to get nailed for saying this, but we only had him two years and he was pretty shaky in coverage his junior year. His senior year was amazing and that is what we all remember but I can’t put him on a career list of top 10, just like Jamario.

To me, once in a lifetime is about talent. He has the on-field numbers to back that up.
Suddenly making it about conference championships or bowl wins is moving the goalposts. Even though we all wish we had a bowl win or two and a conference championship, we should at least acknowledge that Fine led the team to three bowls and a championship game. That isn’t small potatoes at NT.

Liberty didn’t use it either, as I recall. I know during one of the delays they had the fans shelter in their IPF.

One of these things is not like the other. You can’t throw in a one year performance in a list of career achievements.
Even if you could, it still wouldn’t be correct since Booger would be 2 and Fine 3, at least until after this year.

I saw this kid post about visiting NT the other day but didn’t have the chance to post it. Looks like he also plays for the Brewer basketball team. Good frame and should be fairly athletic. Often the basketball experience helps with footwork.
