Let's not kid ourselves; UCLA is not a good football team. They had 35 yards of rushing and 2 picks. Their defense from last year was absolutely gutted. I agree that Kansas State won't be a pushover, but UCLA isn't a good measuring stick. They'd finish towards the middle, at best, in the Sun Belt.
sure. you have way too much faith in the sunbelt.

dodge does not trust his kicker from 50 yds so he had to try anfd get more yards. pftttt.

I sincerely apologize. I certainly ove
geez. man up. this is football, no apologies.

pace yourselves. the point spread did not jump from 19 to 25 because gamblers believe in dodge. it won't be ou or alabama bad but it could be bad. rice is a more realistic game. save the emotions for that.

45-12 not us. too many questions, injuries, and missed kicks in fall camp

Now I got your goat. Don't worry, I'm a card-carrying member of the Alumni Association and I share your love of the snapper. Don't discount me just because we've been distant this summer. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
you two get a room and take the romance elsewhere.

something that will run clock.

I think our problem with getting into CUSA is that they already have a member in this market. CUSA would not benefit from having another school in this television market.
so they would not invite rice either because uhouston was already there? that reason does not float.

What is this thing?
some kind of drainage culvert? the ponds will feed into each other.
mucho thanko king for the photos.

--Fan support would NO problem if we were in major confernece with big name schools coming to town.
this.

Umm, how are we in a wait and see mode? We just hired a consultant that was a founding father of CUSA. We have built our stadium. We are doing EVERYTHING to walk the walk and not just talk the talk.
i would like to see a little talk the talk from us. it lets outsiders know we have a direction and not just waiting for true love to show up at our door.

top 566 does not seem too good. that is less than top 10 per state. are we in top 10 in texas?
-
who was that missing the field goals in the video?

But it's really just all about Texas sports in particular, and not just UNT.
no, this is a student radio station for and about the university of north texas. if you want to highlight some pro sports stories or some results of important national college games or bowl games fine. but a story about ut scheduling notre dame when they have already played each other 10 times in the past and nd is not even top 25? bs. some internal texas or nd fan stuck that story on there on purpose.

Danget, I knew you guys would respond to something like that, but even though I am considered a student writer, I know that if it is just a rumor, I wouldn't write it.
It is true, you have my word on that. By true I mean I know for a fact that's what the coaches want.
Sorry for the edit, I forgot you guys were asking for a source. My source asked to speak on condition of anonymity because he is not really supposed to talk about the subject.
thanks for the story. not a bad effort.
i was pissed however at seeing the longwhorn logo and nd logo in the story below yours. why does kntu advertise future games for the horns? they need no help with attendance. why not mention future unt games with iowa, florida, georgia as a story instead; drum up interest in the campus team instead of one in austin? thanks, rant over.

I watched it...but I also watched Middle Tenn, Army, ULL and ULM where in each game he threw 3 interceptions. We cannot win games no matter how much our defense improves if games like this occur again. I don't bash Reilly but I cannot see how you are so quick to thumbs down a guy for saying what so many are thinking....when do we get a star QB like Hall again?
hall was not recruited as a star qb. he was a db given a chance to try qb first. riley became injured trying to do too much. but he doez not stink as a qb as houston put it. most losses were caused by the defense.

love it when rv comes on to talk. he was doing a lot of dancing on there. general talk but not many facts on that segment. he is right we need more fans to show up. more advertising would help too.
-
I am sure RD is a nice guy...but as a QB he stinks and was responsible for several losses last year...all by his little o' self.
guess you did not see the ball state game.

I had a meeting at the beginning of the month at the Athletic center. I was told that UofH is the opener for the new stadium. Also, they mentioned that a Big East opponent would be the second home game in the new stadium. They did not name the team, because the contract was not finalized.

coaches come and go. it is just a business for most, little loyalty. fans are the ones stuck here longterm dealing with the fallout from their mess when they leave.

green helmet with logo only for 2011 ?

the sunbelt is improving but i can't wait for unt to get out of it. it will be stuck in the minnow end of the pool for a long time. we need to be at least to the level of cusa if not higher. don't settle for less.

Stand Out Players
in Mean Green Football
Posted
i noticed one huge drop. not impressed. Several players stepped up on the big stage but several looked lost, especially the entire defensive backfield. Poor tackling or plain whiffs, and #10, whoosh.
