  1. Please correct me if im wrong (working on a  beer influenced memory here) but didnt they score both TD's on long runs?  Take those two plays away and they are not near 200 yards and maybe shoutout.  Again i might be completely off base here though.

  2. Noticing all around the county that FCS teams were playing much closer games this year than in the past.  I would bet dollars to donuts that had a lot to do with them playing a whole season in the spring vs FBS teams that hadn't played in 8 months.

Utsa... I repeat.... Utsa is ahead of us for any organizational shake up. No one is looking at UNT and saying we deserve a shot at something bigger. Sure, a 1 year track record of wins won't change that. We should be at 4 now. SL 110% dropped the ball and its up to your next coach to clean it up.

Wish I got paid 2 mil to do half a job...

UTSA is not even in the same line as UNT when it comes to conference realignment.  They have very little in facilities and a small athletic budget.

As Emmitt said, two years of football records does not make a conference switch happen...if it did, Boise State would have named their conference choice by now.

It is to be expected that boosters will get involved now, particularly over the table rather than under or indirectly. What I’m waiting for the jury on is how much does that change the landscape?

Sure boosters could help keep their guys, sure they could help take guys away. Does that create a drastically different landscape in regards to talent pooling from what we see now, while teams are still limited to the number of scholarship players they can roster?

The arguments I’m more concerned about tabling for now are the ones regarding those type of effects.

I guess the real pitfall could be Mega donors stepping up and paying players enough money to allow them to "walk on" at places like Alabama and such, therefore not using a scholarship and allow the scholarships to be used to less marketable players

  5. I have a now 12 year old that was diagnosed ADHD at the age of 6.  We tried everything we could before going on Meds.  Our last resort was to pull the dye *Red 40* completely out of his diet and it turned him into a different child.  And when he slips up we can see difference almost immediately, then once its back out of his system he is back to the good child we have raised.

May be worth trying.  Just be careful because once you start  looking you will be shocked as to how many and what type of foods contain Red 40.
