  1. UNT 31 Memphis 45 Mean Green is not there yet, but getting there.
  2. Tulane played poorly in the first half, particularly on offense, and horrible in the second. Unfortunately for Tulane, the 2023 team seems to do that, play just well enough to win, usually coming from behind. Someone is going to pick off my Green Wave, could be Rice this week, unless they start playing better. As I said earlier in this thread Tulane's best performance was week 1, they've underperfomed since. Good luck the rest of the season. You need to go 2-2 against Tulane SMU UTSA and Memphis, you're now 0-1 against those four. The bottom half of the conference is really bad, and UNT is not in the bottom half, so go beat up on the weak teams ending the season.
  3. I agree. Those factors all helped the ratings in a big way. It was also likely the marquis matchup in the C-USAAC regular season as UTSA isn't as good as expected. We shall see. But you may not know that Tulane has had very good ratings for a while now, and they outdrew USC fans 2 to 1 at the Cotton Bowl. Those metrics mean a lot for a possible PEE invite. Tulane wants to get out of the C-USAAC as badly as it wanted out of C-USA, and a second G5 Championship and NY6 Bowl game would be a HUGE step in that direction. Be happy playing Tulane puts UNT on the Deuce this week. The only Tulane game banished to ESPN+ this season will be their FCS opponent, Nichols. 1 game on The U, the rest have been on The Deuce or ESPN.
  4. That Tulane vs Memphis game was watched by 1.72 million viewers. Thats 3.5x the next highest viewed G5 game of week 7. The Tulane vs UNT game would do well to get 600k on a Saturday afternoon on The Deuce
  5. Both the Green Wave offensive and Defensive lines are going to pose problems for the Mean Green. And they have speed burners at WR and the best QB in the league. This is the class of the AAC, and it's not C-USA anymore.
  6. Tulane played their best game their first game of the season. Pratt got hurt at the end, missed the Ole Miss game when they blew a lead and should have put the game on ice before halftime but the 2nd string QB missed plays. The Green Wave hasn't played nearly as well since, and in every game has had extended periods of lethargic play. But I think they put it together with a solid running game and a lot of emotion from a sold out stadium. If Tulane plays it's best, it won't be much of a game. If they play like they've played the last 4 weeks, it will be close well into the 2nd half and UNT will cover. .
  7. I don’t know what happened to my post. Tulane’s defensive front is massive and will wreak havoc in the MeanGreen backfield all day. They will run the ball down our throats, and Pratt will complete something like 13 of 16 passes for 225 yards and 3 TDS. Tulane 52 MeanGreen 13
