  1. I guess they'll need to spread the band out more and need additional space on that side of the stadium for them, and space the students out more.  It may help the place look more full.  Any news on the season ticket holder gift?  I assume it will be a face covering but that's just a guess.  I've been using the gaiters given out for for FAU game a couple of years ago - for free, they work pretty good and make me look cool!  GMG.

Assuming they play this season I’m thinking:

    - 25% capacity by ticket type

    - General Seating within the ticket type sections (i.e. if you purchase Scholarship Premium tickets, you can sit anywhere in the Scholarship Premium sections)

    - Social distancing signs and instructions posted all over the place

    - Hand sanitizer stations all over the place

    - Plexiglass shields at concession stands

    - Masks required except while seated eating or drinking

    - alternating urinals and sinks blocked from usage

    - UNT masks as MGSF gifts

I may get down voted for this, but part of the game day experience is to eat and drink and it is just very inconvenient to eat and drink with a mask on. You would have to pull the mask down at some point to eat comfortably. Hopefully we will have a more definitive answer by mid June because season tickets are due by June 30th. I am not sure I can enjoy the game day experience fully with a mask on. I will still donate to the MGSF, but I don't know if I would purchase my season tickets.

Agreed!  I filled out the survey today from MGSF and said the game day experience should be something fun and entertaining, not a modified medical exam.  Wearing masks when it's 90+ degrees doesn't sound fun to me.  Plus, I don't want to be hassled by the ushers constantly with "Sir, please cover your face."  I already know I have a face for radio and a voice for print, so constant reminding by the Apogee police is not necessary.  GMG

  4. During a meeting with the Alumni Board yesterday, Dr. Neal was asked about fall sports.  He said they hope to have sports but you need other teams to play, so a lot depends on what rest of the conference decides to do.  As far as game day, he said everyone who attends a game will be required to wear a mask.  I hope by the time September rolls around, things will look a look a lot different but who knows.

I saw this option pop up on my Facebook feed...https://ntmluxury.com/product/north-texas-mean-green-fm3d5-v-ntm0091

  5. I first met Cary at a watch party at Fuzzy's in 2017.  It was the first one I ever went to since moving back to Dallas.  I didn't know what to expect and didn't know anyone who was going to be there.  Cary walked right up and introduced himself, told me to put my name in the hat for prizes, told me what was going to happen and made me feel right at home.  He checked on me a few times throughout the game and kept everyone entertained.  He made sure I was having a good time, and that kept me coming back game after game.  Over the past few years, I got to know him better and was glad I did  It was always fun running into him at UNT events and hearing his laugh.  I wish I had known him for a longer period of time.  RIP, Cary...you'll be missed.

    And 2 beers!!!!

I hope the staff knows where to go to get the steins on Saturday.  Seems like every time there is some giveaway, the folks working at The Pit have no idea about it.  So, you have to go around and ask a bunch of people and look like a big dummy.  GMG

LA Tech game on ESPN+ on Apple TV 4K 32GB model was 100% fine last Saturday.  Watched the fight on Saturday on ESPN+ at a buddy's house using a 24 month old Samsung LCD. The fight repeatedly froze and the ESPN+ interface was super slow to operate.  I have two Apple TV 4K's, 2 Roku Ultras, and one TV using built in Android 9.  I'll let you guess which of the 5 devices crashes sometimes while streaming.

I also recently upgraded my WAP to an Asus AX92U.  Was having YouTube TV issues prior on a 4-5 year old Asus AC68P.  All those issues are gone now.  Prayers 🙏 if you're depending on the Cable Co wireless access point.  They're average or worse devices.  Wired is always best, but if you aren't able to hardwire everything, you need to arm yourself with a solid WAP.  When you have an average 2020 family's 2-3 streaming devices, 4 family members phones, a few smart speakers, maybe a sprinkler controller or other IOT devices, 2 or 3 tablets, and a laptop or two on your WAP, you need to think about its ability to handle a constant task like streaming with all those other devices using bandwidth and processing power.

Boring dorky stuff... Basically you gotta spend money to ensure you have a solid backbone to our current day over-connected life.

ESPN+ is better than trying to figure out how to get BEIN Sports.

I have a laptop that is less than a year old, so I would guess it's pretty up to date.  I just launch ESPN+ from the browser and plug the HDMI from the laptop to the TV.  I do this for all my streaming services and ESPN+ is the only one that every freezes.  I'm not saying it's not my computer, but it seems unlikely since it's just with ESPN+.  Oh well, I'll just grin and bear it. #FirstWorldProblems
