Yes, they can work on their own.  Anybody can.  The question is, will they?  The answer from the 2014 and 2015 squads was a resounding no, they will not work on their own to get better:  especially at QB and WR.

There is no magic coaching fairy dust is what Littrell said there.  The players have to put in the work day in and day out, week in and week out, all through the off-season...or, they'll be finger-pointing losers again in 2016.

I tend to agree with his underlying assumption about 2016 - if Morris is bad or injured, 0 wins, 12 losses is not out of the question.  We have zero at QB behind him...same as 2014 and 2015.
