Chris Thomsen- Former Abilene Christian HC. Took ACU to 6 straight playoff appearances. Now OL coach at Ariz.St. Is from TX and has lots of HS coaching ties from his days at ACU.

Chris Thomsen; former head coach at Abilene Christian and current OL coach at Arizona State. His record there was 51-21 in 7 years and 6 trips to the playoffs. Plenty of Texas ties...HC experience...D1 assistant. -

I was just about to post Chris' name here. As an ACU alum and a fan of UNT, Coach Thomsen would be a great hire. Great guy and would not be surprised if he has already been in contact with the AD at UNT. His bro-in-law is actually now the HC at ACU but was the OC during his time at ACU.
