Andrew, it won't. I went to it to set my DVR and I got the message that it might not record b/c I wasn't authorized for this channel. 

Like The Franchise said, I'm not sure why we don't swing a deal with a local channel?

I'll admit I don't know what's involved in making that happen, but starting at 2:30, channel 21 is showing Jeopardy, then Rookie Blue for an hour, then The Pacifier with Vin Diesel. Surely a local team's game could compete, even in a season like this.

Don't think he's playing anywhere. Once he was cut by the Bears, that was it as far as I know. 

Marcus is at a lot of the games. Ran into him at SMU, and have seen him on the sidelines at Apogee during a couple of others.

Has 489 yards on the year. Needs 511 through the final 5 games to get to 1000. 102 yards per game to reach it. It's feasible. 

351 seemed a little low to me. 511 is definitely doable, and I hope he can blow up for a 200-yarder or two in the final 5.

If we take the young coordinator route, I'd feel more comfortable with Major Applewhite than Sonny Cumbie. Applewhite has been a full time coach since 2005, while Cumbie has only been coaching since 2011. I feel Applewhite would be able to put together a better staff and has much more experience on the recruiting trail.

I would be great with the Major too. He's worked at big programs....Rice, Alabma, UT and now Houston. Think he would be a great hire and do good for UNT.

Not sure he leaves Houston if Herman leaves, unless it's to go with him to the next school.

We have a long way to go but at least it was fun at times tonight.  It makes me very mad that DMac hasn't been given all the snaps up to this point as he clearly is the most talented QB on this roster.  I also like that he gets other WRs involved in the game.  Seemed like mini always wanted only to throw to Carlos.  

I liked that too. Spreading it around is a good thing. Carlos was looking mighty frustrated on the sideline last night. At one point while he was on the exercise bike I saw and heard Canales hugging him and yelling for him to stay POSITIVE. 

Demarcus and Carlos need extra reps together this week, and Marcus Smith needs a new can of spray tack.

It's ridiculous that we have all the early games during the scorching heat of September, and then a night game on October 31st, ensuring that people with kids won't come and students won't come. I'd be surprised if there's 5k people at that game.

Yeah, the Halloween night game stinks for sure for those of us with kids. I made Rice a couple of years ago, but was glad to see a bye week last year.
