  1. Tyler Maryak's post in Anybody Pumped for our upcoming series with University of Houston? was marked as the answer
Regardless of one's own opinion about the quality of opponent we have in Houston (and ignoring factors like gaining access to the recruiting grounds around Houston), the reality is that the previous AD said to me quite matter-of-fact-ly that "Houston just isn't coming to Denton any more. It isn't going to happen. People say, 'Oh, why don't you schedule with Texas Tech?' Tech doesn't want to play us. People may not like it, but that's the truth."

Maybe we feel like we deserve better, but this AD is doing stuff that was previously declared impossible. I sure as hell appreciate that.

Just thought it might be interesting to know that they do, apparently, now have fraternities.
  3. Tyler Maryak's post in It's a bye week. Let's speculate on next season was marked as the answer
I talked to Dajon Williams for a little while today and said that he did end up getting a medical redshirt, but he seemed pretty optimistic about the opportunity to take the reins next season.
  4. Tyler Maryak's post in What would you like to see us do offensively against Ohio? was marked as the answer
I think anybody who watched the Ohio game this past Sunday would agree that running the ball is what will allow us to keep moving the ball forward and controlling the clock. Its great that we've got some good hands and some (hopefully) accurate throws from Thompson we can depend on if needed, but most of this game should be played on the ground.
