    NT 66 ---------- LSU 54

    7:16 to go

Had pushed the lead to 18, but Tigers trying make a charge.

It’s more appropriate to say the Tigers are trying to claw back into the game.

He had a chance to play in the Big 12, one of the best if not the best men's basketball conference and he took it.

Ah…. It’s all about him. Got him…. Must be one of those. “I know my worth”…. “I’m worth something” people. Aka I just run away to only look out for myself.

I’ll be starting the “Please stay, CJ” NIL fund soon.

Edwards, Jones, Noland, Walker, Scott, and Sissoko. After that we could hard reset the rest of the roster but those 6 must return.

The discussion started with Allen vs Sissoco.  Sissoco could be deemed a returning starter from the NIT tourney I guess, once Abou left us.  But in nearly every game this season Allen has outplayed him and warrants starting to get him max minutes.

Terry outperformed Stevenson…. He was also on the previous years team. He still didn’t start….

Why are players who transfer from UNT " cowards "but those who transfer to North Texas are not? You seem to want it both ways.

Many are. JUCO or smaller D1 move up one time is understandable. A senior on their last year makes sense. Most of these moves aren’t this. Perry already transferred once to UNT. He did it the correct way. Then turned tail and ran.

I doubt Michael Jordan or Luka Doncic are starting on the bench.  You put your best players on the floor to begin the game to set the tone and hopefully make the other team get concerned and play from behind.

Jason Terry started maybe a dozen games for the Mavs during their championship season. You are comparing him to a superstar and not a normal player. Sure this would’ve a relevant statement if Jones or Scott were coming off the bench. Other than them any other mix of players could start or come off the bench.

Because our Tylor Perry transferred there for "greener NIL pastures" and they're now with us in the NIT. Abou Ousmane, who transferred to Xavier is also playing in the NIT.

We would have won many more games, easily qualified for the NCAA Tournament, and probably made a very good run if both of those players remained at North Texas.

They should have been star players on this years Cinderella team in the tourney, but have been relegated to the role of forgettable journeymen in mediocre seasons at their current schools. It's a high price to pay as they will both miss the tremendous exposure they would have received. Oh well.

Grass is always greener…. Cowards always run away because they believe they are “worth more”. Biggest lie in modern day America…. Know your worth. Nobody is worth more than anyone else and Loyalty is everything.

It helps that several schools looked down their noses at the NIT, but I'll take it.

Yep… If a team declines then the NCAA should made a rule that they cannot be considered for the Big Dance the next season. The NCAA never carry’s its weight and allows cowardess universities to dictate things. Pathetic.

Temple getting the bid with a losing record would be an embarrassment for the conference.  Especially if FAU doesn't get in (which at this point I feel like has a 35-40% chance of happening).

I’m almost always an underdog rooter.

FAU and Memphis are the top two teams in the conference. With them out not sure it matters much.

Temple with a 7-0 run because of a lame flagrant on FAU.  I have the inkling Temple is gonna take this.  Feels just like their last two games.

Refs seems to be poor this tournament.

Because the first game went over by like 30 minutes.

Push it back to 4 so I can watch the whole game on my flight! Was hoping UNT would be playing so maybe I could watch them during the flight but didn’t realize it tipped earlier.

Your phone isn't delayed. I live in San Diego.

We're playing high level basketball, regardless what the committee selection or its pundits say, you have to have 5 guys out there that can produce offensively. Maybe in that moment, under a minute, Stone could've ate that.

No I mean my original post saying get our two guys out (Noland and Walker) out when they each picked up a foul and replace with stone never sent. By the time it went through they had 2 and Scott had 3. 😕
