  1. Good question. He's bounced around from what I can tell. He was at A. Maceo Smith where his dad was the head coach, transferred to Trinity for a while, then onto L.D. Bell. He committed to O.U. then switched to Michigan near signing day. Here's his Rivals page:

This guy got all kind of offers from Major Division I teams. So is this guy going to sign with us? Billy58see, do you know anything about this guy?

  2. For those who really dislike the star system, Miles may be your guy. I'd say it's a shame he's not a 3-star (1 point shy on 247 at a 79), but it doesn't matter in the end. He's got big-time size, film, and offer list. Check it out. One of the best offer lists of our o-line signees in a while. 12+ offers from schools from across the country, from the Pacific coast (San Diego State) all the way to the Atlantic coast (Yale and Harvard). Glad he settled on a school in between.

ESPN did not list him with an offer from Houston.

  3. there are 33 undrafted players in this year's super bowl....he'll find a spot just like cobb and dunbar....hell look at brian waters...possible hall of famer.

Ed are 33 on the active squad and or what we called the taxi squad at one time. I realize the taxi squad does not suite up during the regular season but they suite up for the Super Bowl. Is that correct?

  4. Billy58, really appreciate the education you provide many of us. Gosh many of us not familiar with the recruiting process would never think about some of these points brought up. Guess I feel the last few years and even when I was at NT in late 70's early 80's that we have had to mostly settle for the leftovers. But then seeming some of our walk-on and now having a winning season, we may pull some of those 4 star players right out of HS not when they don't make at some other big school.

  5. This is silly. Do these kids realize what a degree from Northwestern is worth and not talking money but prestige after graduation. You get a business degree from this fine institution and employers will look. At it is, student that get degrees get more earning over their lifetime than somebody without one.

  6. Was Lance at the HOD game? Have not heard anyone mention that he was even tho the season for him and Cowboys ended early. I hope his employment continues with the Cowboys being that the last two years his injuries have prevented him from finishing the season and Jerry Jones is not a very patient man.

  7. I doubt it would still be open if not for the fact that students without cars walk there for groceries. The prices were never that great either, but cheaper than buying a car to get groceries. If there was another option within walking distance, I bet that place would go down anyway. I just don't know where you could possibly open a competitor that would still be close enough to walk to.

Hey Jesse, Why not bring back Gibsons where Sac N Pac is?
