I’m glad you got it done. Our results were interesting. I never had symptomatic Covid but my wife did. We both test positive for for both types of antibodies. My mom tested negative for both so I told her she should talk to her doctor about getting vaccinated because I don’t think ahe would survive if she contracted the virus. She says she is worried about getting terribly ill or dying from the vaccine itself because of her health issues. I told her it is very important that she talk to her doctor about it.

Yea - I agree that's the best approach. I am significantly immunocompromised and was a little hesitant at first, but after consulting with doctor, determined vaccine was the best approach. I know not all conditions are the same, but I had very light reaction and no lingering effects.

These Darden updates are great.  I curious as to how Jaylon Guyton is doing on the Chargers.  Preseason reports on him are sparse.

He hasn’t played much this preseason because I think his spot is secure as the 3rd receiver. Based on ESPN reports of 53 man roster projections, both he and Darden are safe.

The date of this story is May 25 and they use the term "recently".  The 49ers season has been over since February.  I wonder why they waited so long for Jeff to have this repaired ?  Had he had the surgery in March he would be well on the road to recovery by now.

    Good luck Jeff.

Teams are currently going through OTAs, so it's possible he got injured during the offseason program.

That’s interesting.  If I work for a company in Texas and my company sends me to Ohio for a month to get the Ohio branch back on track, I wouldn’t be considered an employee of an Ohio company.  I’d continue to get paid from my Texas employer.  I wonder why it’s different working for a Florida company franchised by the NFL ?

    GOD BLESS TEXAS

You might want to check with your CPA on that thinking...I worked in California for two days in 2020, guess who had to file a California tax return...

Doesn't look like new developments. Seems to follow what we all know - except now there is a recording of the ad execs post conference call talking about their feelings about him as a person (how they think he is not a good face of the company - they think he lacks introspection and is a racist at heart). Now - maybe/likely the conference call was leaked as a setup to force bad press, but the conference call itself was no a setup. No one made him drop the N word. He was riffing and let the n-word fly casually. I am not here to cast judgement on that, but a company board can vote out members and fire a CEO. That is what happened and follows what we know.

It's odd for him to admit to it first, then go conspiracy on it, then admit he struggled to rid the N word from his vocabulary.. then all this press release driven mumbo jumbo.

Anyone who says they had to work to rid the N word from their vocabulary did not lose their job because some super smart woke people tricked him into saying it and got taken out of context.

I agree that they are going to have to play an important role, but outside of Jones, I don't see Mac being terrific with freshmen.  Am I missing something there?

Agreed - I would like to bring in an experienced ballhandler and someone to play on the wing - pref. D1 junior transfers. Then if we have another scholly, maybe the best freshman available that we can get.

That is probably fair. It gets closer to 7 on 7 rules for the quarterback every year. I don’t recall Brady facing one of these but could be wrong.

If he did, yellow handkerchiefs would fly and someone would be sitting out the rest of the game waiting on a fine and possible suspension.

Feel like that would not be a flag today either. Hit him in the back, that is still open season.

I know today has been busy and exciting with recruiting, but I was on YouTube and this game popped up on my recommendations!

17 years ago today, we played in our 3rd straight bowl game. A very much improved Memphis team beat (in my opinion) the best overall North Texas team since 2013.

NT didn’t quite take advantage of the situations given like Cobbs falling on what could’ve been a huge TD run.

Really wish we could see another NT team like this, but you never know.

I was there for that game, the only bowl game I could afford to attend as a broke college student who was there for the 2001-2004 run. Totally thought we had a great shot and let the game disappointed thinking what could have been...
