I am going to miss playing WKU. I hope we can keep them on the schedule.

10.9 is certainly not fast at all. However, I ran track so we would have considered you slow at that speed, but he looks like he hits.
That is plenty fast for any position. It means he runs in the 4.5 range in a 40.

I would like to see more offers to secondary players, specifically safeties.

The problem with the computer ratings is they have to start somewhere and it is just someone's idea of the ranking of all 300 plus schools. The rankings should get better as the season progresses.
FAU's record as outlined above is not that strong, even Florida is not that strong a club.
When NT beats them next week (might as well be positive), they will drop drastically down.
Unless we win massively, I don’t think they would drop drastically. It would be a quad 1 loss for them. I do think we could go up quite a bit because it would be a quad one win for us assuming the didn’t drop past 30 in the NET.

The on-field assistant pool seems to be about $700k higher than it was under Littrell. I think we will see most of that increase go to the coordinators just based on the salaries they are leaving to come to UNT (without knowing who the offensive coordinator will be).

That domination of UMass brought our NET ranking up 13 spots from 65 to 52.
Unfortunately, UMass’ NET fell to 101, so it is currently a quad 3 win. If they get back in the top 100, it will be a quad 2 win.

Where else would he go?

Everyone that complains about completion percentage - last night was a perfect example of what our coaches try to do vs what a high completion percentage team does. We run very low percentage plays where most of the time the ball travels 20 yards in the air. 80% of UTSA’s throws were 5 yards in the air to wide open receivers in the flat or bubble screens. We don’t put our players in position to succeed.

Why didn’t Aune cover that receiver?

Why didn’t Aune stop that 3rd and 18?

So it’s first and fifteen on your own twenty with seventy seconds left, a QB who throws INTs, you’re getting the ball after the half, and against a 10-2 team that has all three timeouts that you haven’t stopped yet and we should’ve gone for it because you watch other teams do that?
Incredible.
There was 1:12 left. Three runs and they call three timeouts and they still get the ball with plenty of time…

NT 29 ------- LBSU 28
Halftime
I think we're doing pretty well given Perry is scoreless. Get him on track and we got this.
(Hitting free throws better wouldn't hurt either)
I think we should actually have 30, they never added the point on the Abou free throw where they called basket interference. Let’s see if they correct that.

This team misses Drez.

This is literally the worst I have ever seen our team play since I have been watching.

Our offense is stagnant to say the least

I was certainly hoping for a new QB after last year, but he is having a great season overall. Here is where he ranks in all of college football after yesterday:
#8 in passing yards
#4 in yards per attempt
#3 in touchdowns
#12 in qb rating
His qb rating is about 15 points higher than Mason’s best season.

This team is incredibly young. The talent is there to be a good AAC team.

Our receivers rarely make a play to help the QB.

And Jackson State had the number one recruit in the 2022 class, Travis Hunter, that also plays CB and did not make first-team SWAC.
