Our D has been great to end the year. We can't go toe to toe offensively with them. I know some don't like our style but we need to really ugly this game up. Make it the most boring, awful basketball game we've ever watched. I want UAB fans to hate basketball after this game. Get in Jelly's jock and stay there the whole game until he cries....
I don't care if there are <90 points scored total and both teams shoot <40% from the field. (as long as they shoot worse)

The difference in Perry compared to Gibson, Reese or McBride is that Perry has stated numerous times that we were the school he wanted to attend/his dream school. I think the decision comes down to if he wants to play another year or graduate and move on with the next step in his life.
Only thing that concerns me (if it’s even a concern….I hope he does what’s best for him….he’s earned the right, but selfishly I obviously want him to stay) I would think he will be a target of some big programs. Do they get their sales pitches ready and bring the NIL dough to him? He’s one of the best 3 point shooters in the nation and is a clutch time monster. He would be attractive to most programs out there….

If I'm another program looking at TP....do I look at him as a "system player?"
I don't really know the answer but with only one year left....can he come into a different system and be as successful as he is in Denton?
Seems like it could be like taking a player from the triple option to a spread team...in one year.

Seems like we get our tough opponents at home (Cal, UTSA, UAB, maybe Memphis Is tough….SMU is technically a road game but not typical) toughest road game @Tulane
Feels like with that schedule we could be in the mix….looking forward to it.

I haven’t watched a lot of UTEP basketball but is this the way they always play? They’re upset on some of the foul calls but man they are wildassed on defense. SUPER aggressive and it seems like they foul everyone with the ball. And push off on rebounds

I keep seeing this. Am I looking at it wrong? If UAB is the 3 seed (likely) won’t the 2 seed be lined up to play them in the semis? The 1 plays the 4?
