  1. A coach once told me "With our offense, if we hold teams to 25 points on defense I would consider that winning football".  I thought "Shit, we gotta score a lot of points then".   The point is, in an "air raid" up tempo kind of offense, the offense scores and gets off the field so fast, that the defense has to play more.  I agree with the earlier post.  If our defense can just improve an average of one touchdown per game, Mason has proven that he cannot be held back.  Now, if we lose our quarterback, which can and will happen then how good is the next guy?

Either way, I will take this based on what I have been watching for the past ten years.  Lord how much fun was 97 yards in one minute?  Might have been my best mean green time ever.......

Soak it in boys, because there is a very real possibility that a coach will walk out of here next year rather than being shot and pushed out in a coffin.......

Seriously Bert Frito, are you or are you not a professional journalist.  Are we playing Florida Atlantic or Southern Miss?

    Do you proof anything?

I really wish I could screen shot this one and show it to Patterson the next time he says to me "Bert does a good job"

YOUR FREAKING HEADLINE IN THE DENTON PAPER READS "Southern Miss" yet my schedule says Florida Atlantic

Ah, the old post personal info angle. Public shaming the UNT way.

i expect better from you. Don’t think I’ve ever commented on what flooring you may or may not have provided to the AD... until now...

none that the athletic department ever paid for.  Its called an "in kind" donation.  And I meant nothing malicious about the crime in Tarrant County thing.  I will admit I was out of line a few years ago, but so were you.

I'll shout it from the mountain top.  "I sell flooring!!!!!"

Rah rah rah, sis boom bah.....  SINGING GLORY TO THE GREEN, SINGING GLORY TO THE WHITE.....

btw....the basketball coach is pretty damn good, and quite entertaining to watch.  You should sneak up and give it a chance.

Apparently you haven’t heard that TCU joined the Big 12. A little behind your college football studies? That means home games every other year with Texas, Oklahoma, Tech, Ok St, etc...

    Get it?

When you use a P5’s home schedule to justify UNT’s home schedule, you should realize you are on the losing end of the argument.

But, by all means, rah rah rah, sis boom bah.

the positive of all this posting that your doing is that crime must be very slow over there in Tarrant County, and you have nothing else to do.  I have to admit, I have missed you.  With all the drinking R.V. and I are doing these days, when you combine that with your post, I can't keep myself posted up on the bar stool from laughing so hard.  These clowns haven't figured out that your 85% stich with a big heart.  time for a reprise.....

How does watching the games on CUSATV work?

I found the North Texas page on the CUSATV site

Are we required to pay to watch them?

What's the quality of video coverage for home games?

I did two in football.  I payed for both.  The quality depends on the quality of the equipment from the host school.  One was excellent and the other was spotty.  If you do an away game the home team radio feed can be a beating to listen to.

So, I guess if you do one of our home games, you get to listen to Dave and possibly Hank, and you can report on the quality of our production.

As to the close games.  There were a lot of those under Dodge in his last year.  The ball bounced against us every time for the loss.

There have been a lot of close games under Littrell.  Without going to look up all the games to find an exception, the ball has bounced for us for the win, at least every close game this season.

Good coaching staffs find a way to create that luck.  I'll take those close games all day long.  We had two of the best games I've ever seen this year in Apogee because of crazy last minute finishes.  (I'm going to exclude UAB because somehow I just comfortably knew that one would work out ok).

    does schlitz even exist anymore?
