A coach once told me "With our offense, if we hold teams to 25 points on defense I would consider that winning football". I thought "Shit, we gotta score a lot of points then". The point is, in an "air raid" up tempo kind of offense, the offense scores and gets off the field so fast, that the defense has to play more. I agree with the earlier post. If our defense can just improve an average of one touchdown per game, Mason has proven that he cannot be held back. Now, if we lose our quarterback, which can and will happen then how good is the next guy?
Either way, I will take this based on what I have been watching for the past ten years. Lord how much fun was 97 yards in one minute? Might have been my best mean green time ever.......
Soak it in boys, because there is a very real possibility that a coach will walk out of here next year rather than being shot and pushed out in a coffin.......

I’ll tell you why it affects me. My license plate holder is no longer valid. I have to throw away two sweatshirts, and everything mandarino worked so hard to build from the ground up just got axed in one swift obviously knee jerk decision. Plus, it’s one of the few clubs I actually belong to. What now? Rotary? Kiwanananasasas? Junior league? I have no direction.

Am I the only one that it drive crazy that professional journalist Bert Frito doesn't proof his own work?
Even I know that even if you even spell hit spell check, even is still a word spelled correctly, so even if you hit spell check, it wouldn't catch even as being a misspelled word. This event doubles as earning the nick name, Bert Frito.....

So he was first team all state. A couple of different outlets in Oklahoma has named him player of the year. Now Maryland, a Big 10 ten has offered him.
Ernie must have donated some money to Maryland.....
Or could it be that Litrell and co. actually know a football player when they see one?

I did two in football. I payed for both. The quality depends on the quality of the equipment from the host school. One was excellent and the other was spotty. If you do an away game the home team radio feed can be a beating to listen to.
So, I guess if you do one of our home games, you get to listen to Dave and possibly Hank, and you can report on the quality of our production.

I have to say that this is far and away Bakers best hire in the three major sports at North Texas. He has the most lifetime wins in the three major sports of any hire that Baker has made here, therefore he must be the best hire.

There have been a lot of close games under Littrell. Without going to look up all the games to find an exception, the ball has bounced for us for the win, at least every close game this season.
Good coaching staffs find a way to create that luck. I'll take those close games all day long. We had two of the best games I've ever seen this year in Apogee because of crazy last minute finishes. (I'm going to exclude UAB because somehow I just comfortably knew that one would work out ok).

in the spirit of the moment, wife and I have booked a hotel room in frisco, about 25 miles from the house. I went on rant about "if we expect the kids to stay for 4 days, then we should do the same, it's called Karma, and it can be a bitch".
Plus I figure hotel a couple of nights< expense for dui defense, Yeah, I know uber goes to where I live, but we need a sta cay.
