Mac was asked if McNuggets could have a season like DT it wasnt Mac saying well because he played so well for us last year we think he could duplicate DT's performance. What was he going to say? No he cant be good enough for us to win. It was typical coach speak. McNulty is all things Mac said he was good kid, hard worker, and respected. We all know this is still a competition. During the construction of Apogee the AD talked a lot about how it was specifically built to host big concerts, like at FC Dallas' stadium. Almost four years in and there hasn't been one. I wonder if they're having trouble convincing bands to perform in Denton over Frisco and Dallas?
I'm sure the Denia peeps have something to do with this...or Benford

I disagree with you Harry in that I hope SMU has zero success after our game with them. I openly cheer against SMU and TCU as much as I'm allowed.

I think we see many field goals next season...after the first 2.5 minutes of the game, our entire offense scheme will be figured out that we dump short passes and run up the middle. So, maybe we can get inside the 30 enough times and make a crap load of field goals.

I seem to recall hearing numerous times (do I have it on tape... no.. Do I have where it was written down...no) fill up Apogee and we won't have to schedule these types of games. Well based on our continounce to schedule these games it would appear (my opinion) someone (who shall remain nameless) has little faith in that occurring.
To sell out, we have to become a winning program for several years consistantly. Until then, we have to have paycheck games

I think we would be successful in baseball very quickly. There are a ton of really good players in the North Texas area. There is only 1 (UTA) four year public school in the area that offers baseball. To my knowledge, baseball scholarships are partial so the player would have to fund some of their schooling. Please correct me if I'm wrong here.
If the player does have to pay some of their own way, I'd bet they choose NT over UTA and the private schools that offer baseball. Plus, there are a lot of good JC programs out there that we could pull from to field a team with experience.

I don't know if short passes or deep routes really matter....UNT quarterbacks tend to stare down a receiver and basically scream "Hey Defense, I'm throwing to this guy over here!!"

looks good. I'll throw in another plug for Muddy Jakes. Their burgers are the bomb and you are surrounded by beer towers and Mean Green. I went up in pant size after eating their BLTA burger...(burger patty, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, ....topped with a fried egg. Oh my gosh....

It's going to be an awesome day when UNT90 actually cheers for UNT instead of trying to tear it down. It's quite impressive how much effort is put into exposing negative aspects about the program. Quite impressive...
