  1. BEST-CASE SCENARIO… SMU keeps things close as it kicks off the Chad Morris era against nationally ranked Baylor. The Ponies end up losing by a couple of touchdown but build plenty of team morale. A win over North Texas gives SMU a boost before falling back down to earth in a blowout loss at TCU. SMU, however, recovers by knocking off James Madison. Back-to-back losses against East Carolina and Houston are nothing to be ashamed of. Morris keeps the energy high as quarterback Matt Davis hits his stride and helps the Ponies reel off three straight wins. SMU falls to Memphis and Navy on the road but beats Tulane and finishes with a .500 record. read more: http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews.com/2015/08/best-caseworst-case-scenarios-for-smu-football-this-season.html/
  2. ...and signs are starting to point that way now, I really would like to see the AD and school go all out and have the band and plenty of tents and good accessibility on the Boulevard for our fans. Let's make this a big event. We shouldn't cut any corners and have plenty of activities that will make it easier for families to attend. I like the idea of a promotion to outdraw the SMU fans in the game or something like that. Let's do a green out and get some cool t-shirts. Let's bus the students and make it easy for them to buy tickets. If SMU ends up hiring Mac Brown I could see this as a very fun game. Not quite a home game of course but close. Hopefully we can tap into the fans we saw at the bowl game last year in Dallas. Let's make the best of it.
