Tylor is going to be able to change his family’s life in one year of college basketball. He poured his heart and soul into the university for 2 years. 2023 season is a business transaction.
Looking at this list I really don’t blame him. Once we can really sustain ourselves as a P6 powerhouse I’m sure we’ll have more people stick around.

Don't think I'm going to be watching/taking anything away from this game. Brutal that we haven't even practiced since our last game.

the lack of tech literacy in this thread is baffling & the ESPN+ news is huge. Our in-house video product sucks, and replacing with the ESPN+ trucks will be monumental to our brand and product. We're complaining about a product that services maybe a couple thousand people in the Denton area vs the much needed upgrades for tens of thousands of people that watch these games. Also the social team has been doing a great job, and excited to see how they grow. These kinds of investments are useful and great for us moving into a modern era trying to appeal to people that are the age of people who go to the school. I don't think any of the people we are trying to draw in have ever even used a radio before.

S&C needs to dramatically improve and it really seems like the new AAC teams are not showing out as much as fun belt teams are….

he had a great night, he is definitely built for the NBA game, even Ja was impressed. At this point he should easily earn a 2way deal on somebody's roster
Fairly certain he already has a two way deal with the Grizzlies

He's definitely getting attention.
Leading to lots of people recognizing C-USA as a legit basketball conference… absolutely loving this all.

Saw the game yesterday, he did look good on both sides of the ball, lets see how a few more games go. They play OKC with Chet Holmgren tonight should be worth watching.
Amazing game tonight. 19 points and 6 boards and shut down Chet. He’s making some noise for sure in this tourney.

He had a pretty good showing in summer league. Always will root for for our C-USA brethren in the professional league as it makes us look better.

I don’t mean this with any irony: I am pretty pleased with the fact that a six-win season and a bowl game equals a “huge disappointment” for many here.
You’ve come a long way, baby. Now if only those expectations were matched by donations! My donations are my still unpaid student loans, if that counts for anything

This was a great interview and I’m so ready to support this team going into the Tourney. Glad we have guys in our system excited to grow our brand.

Seeing this lineup makes me miss last years tourney so much… we played some legit teams. Vermont is good and of course none of these teams should be taken for granted, but I loved our Miami game.

I saw Hamlet was on the Mavs G League team in January then waived in late Feb.
I know several of our guys have gone to Europe or Asia to play pro ball. How does pay there compare to the G League? I guess getting paid to play ball is great no matter where it is if you can make a decent living at it.
I’m pretty sure G League you get paid less, however it is the easier route to get into the NBA through the two-way contracts and summer league and stuff, and I believe has better players than many international leagues. Lots more selfish hero-ball in G League too, because everyone is trying to show off.
was a real shame Hamlet didn’t work out for the G League, think he just was making too many mistakes in games.

Well I guess I’m glad there was some drama this off-season

How far is the drive from Boston?
About an hour and a half. Was not used to this small state luxury in Texas.

I am living in Boston and will be trying my best to make the trip to the far side of mass. Rare to have any Mean Green this far north!

I get the laid back nature of this interview, but it's a little 'chickenshit' that he is just complaining about it all. Grant seemed to have a much better reaction to having guys stolen.

Yeah, I’m pretty much done with college sports. I’ll hang onto basketball for a while until NIL takes hold of that too.
Lol have you kept up with the Miami drama? NIL put its claws in Basketball a long time ago.

Posts offers from Costal, ULM, North Dakota state and a bunch of other random schools - really seems like we're the best option for him. Also doesn't seem like he visited anywhere else. Retweeted a Vito article about him visiting us.

I admire the green kool-aid diet. Respectfully, those 2 programs have a higher ceiling in terms of media attention simply because of the conferences they play in. I don't agree with it but that's the way it is. Georgia had the number 1 overall pick in the NBA draft just 2 years ago and number 8 pick just 9 years ago. They went 16-16 and 15-17 those two seasons, respectively. They didn't need to win to be noticed.
Now, Penn State, sure. We're on the same page. I still can't fault a guy for thinking he's more likely to go pro coming out of the Big 10 than 2022 C-USA. It's not about Penn State, it's about playing Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, and so on all year. More eyeballs.
People seem to have missed Iowa St winning two games last season, and then making a deep turney run this year.

He’s back on the market, and Perry’s trying to get his number 👀 Vito saying that they played in the same Juco league.

Drez got to be an impact player on a great team in a great season.he deserves to get closer to home and play his last season somewhere else. Grant has proven that he can refill roster spots and have just as much success, so i will always root for him & others who decide to transfer!
