I’d argue the whole season. Outside of the first Rice game and the games against D2 schools
This. I've argued all season that this team has not killed off or dominated any opponent this season other than RICE and D2 schools. We squeek by mediocre teams then get exposed by good teams or teams with size. We'll be lucky to make the NIT at this rate

You haven’t watched us lately have you? Hah.
Unfortunately, I have. Every. Game. And the shooting percentage just keeps going down and down

I honestly don't get the hype all of these publications are heaping on Southern Miss. Is there something I'm missing here? Also, has to suck to be UTEP where they are explicitly pointed out in the headline as the worst team in the country.

We definitely love our receivers. The name of the game is holding onto him now. Solid start to the class

Y’all are getting a good one! Here’s a good article on him.

Welcome and thank you for sharing. I get more excited the more I read

Stoked. This hire looks excellent and will really open up our offense. Is it football season yet?

I'm glad because their fans talked a lot of trash on the CUSA board a few weeks ago about our soft schedule.
This. I'm glad we curb stomped them

How big is the crowd?
Probably the best I've seen all season. A lot of students are there. Their campus recruiting to get students to games looks to be working

Radio said don’t expect him back and he will probably be looked at further. That’s all I got 😕.
Ankle injury. He really hobbled off. It didn't look good. They were trying to get him taped back up but I don't expect to see him back.
Edit: He's in an ankle boot. He's done

We look good, but Marshall is in real disarray. They are definitely not a cohesive unit. I really want to kill them them off this second half. This solid crowd deserves to see us knock off the conference champs

I haven’t watched Sports Center completely through in a year or more. I may switch over for a few highlights, but the Lebron Lovefest is too much.
Exactly. They seriously just ran an article about Lebron giving his thoughts on the Mavs trade situation with Harrison Barnes. Why do I care what Lebron thinks about how that all went down?

Smith is sports talk and definitely NOT sports news. Don't care for him either.
Never said he was sports news. But even Sportscenter is unwatchable now. I can only take so much Zion Williamson, Duke Basketball, Lebron shoved in my face.

What a clown article 🤡

This. I have stopped watching ESPN specifically because of this reason. It's no longer just about sports coverage. It's about how many pots blowhards like Stephen A. Smith can stir to get reactions from people. I used to love Around the Horn and even that is cringe-worthy now.

This is a game we need to and should win. No excuses

It is a good class. Much better than what we normally see in Denton. I'll grade it a B-.
The reason I don't grade the class higher....
-I'm still concerned about our talent in the trenches, and don't know that this class represents a substantial improvement on the lines. In recruiting, I value offensive and defensive linemen above all other positions.
-Also, outside of Texas and Oklahoma, we only signed 3 players from the other 48 states. I believe we could be more committed to turning over every rock to find the best talent we can get, especially when it comes to linemen.
Agreed about the need for more linemen but hasn't the focus shifted to keeping the best talent home? As in getting recruits from our own backyard which is natural given that Texas high school football is the Mecca of high school football and recruiting. We look to have focused and succeeded in that area

I hope he enjoys Hutchinson, Kansas. It is home to a very fine salt mine and some lovely churches. Perhaps, he will find his soulmate at one or the other; more likely at a church, though. Second Missionary Baptist Church and Our Redeemer Lutheran are quite near Gowans Stadium where the Blue Dragon home games are played! Hallelujah!
I hope he has a heavy winter coat ready

Columbia is a good place. Always good to see former players doing work.
