Abu has such soft touch around the basket.  He has improved immensely from last year and he isn't close to reaching his full potential.  I loved Zach, but he will have us forgetting Zach pretty quickly.

No disrespect to Zach, but Abou’s ceiling is much higher. He is much much more improved from last season.

I wouldn’t worry about him jumping ship. I have a feeling he’ll be here a while, especially if he continues to improve at this rate.

I don’t know. Before last year I probably would’ve said “after we win a game in the NCAA tournament.” Usually that puts you on the map to people who follow college basketball whereas just winning conference games alone does not. I’m sure it has to some, but apparently it has not to a lot of these vocal fans on opposing boards and such.

Just keep winning and the respect will be there.

This is Grant’s best team that he has had since he’s been at UNT. He’s built a heck of a program by utilizing JUCO players and high school recruits. Our team is still relatively young with core players like: Rubin Jones, Aaron Scott,  and Abou Ousmane. McBride could come back next year too if he desires. This team has me really excited this year and for the future.

There is no way in hell Seth is back.

Give me Patterson, Fuente, or whoever can lead and build this program back up.

I like Patterson, Fuente,McGuire, and Harrell as top candidates. Here are the questions I have with those four:

    1. Patterson - does he have the drive and energy to rebuild this program?

    2. Justin Fuente- Does he have the Texas ties to recruit Texas, especially against Traylor?

    3. Joey McGuire- Does he have the ability to lead a program with no FBS coordinator experience?

    4. Graham Harrell - Can he bring in quality assistant coaches and not be a Littrell 2.0?

Either way, I trust Wren will hire the best guy. There’s still a lot of season left until a decision with Littrell has to be made

Decades of university administrations have been unable or unwilling to do what it takes to cure the cancer that is NT football. At this point we have to admit that it should be cut out before it spreads further and does more damage to the university.

Get this mindset out of here

Why so?  Why can do many schools like Houston who hired Kelvin Sampson after he had been clearly indicted or say High Freeze at Liberty.  There are very few coaches who can win and move the pendulums where they need to.be.  If we are not serious about winning then WTF are we paying someone 2.5 million a year?

Exactly. I want the best HC out there and if that’s Briles or baby Briles, I’m fine with that

So here's a far fetched thought but what if we banded donors together and offered the same incentives for N-I-L to our athletes that the SEC is proposing.

First just the notoriety of doing it would attract national attention for being the first to get ahead of the trend. Also the level of talent would probably be raised as well.

Imagine being the first in the state to formalize the new wild West, but also the attention it would get from potential expanding conferences.

It would also be keeping with UNT's tradition of being a leader in innovation.

    I love this idea

Does his phone not have the letter A for and, or am I missing something. What an idiotic response. Yes, if you buy season tickets and donate, it gives you all the rights to talk crap about the team because without donors, the athletic department is nothing.

Not a good representation of UNT right there

Fans have the right to criticize play and performance, especially and specifically towards coaches that get paid millions of dollars by the University.

When you get beat by 34 points at home in a conference game, and you don’t hear any criticism, then you have  fans that don’t care

Its good to see that the Seth defenders are either turned or cowering to the point they will never publicly support him again.

The real question is, when will the majority of you realize Wren is as much of the problem with where our football program is as Seth is? Prove me wrong...

They both can walk as far as I'm concerned.  If you can't demand accountability from our flagship FBS Football program how can I depend on you to ask any of our programs for accountability?  Frankly if MBB wasn't winning the lot of you would already be asking for his head on a stake.

Wren is the only reason I have hope with the football program
