I'm getting down votes because nobody knows what the hell I'm talking about except for you because most of this forum is a bunch of old guys.
I will never step foot on your terrible campus again though, that's for sure.
Bye Felicia.

pretty sure @Lurker meant the kids at a high school game.
Oh... Shat.

I'm not real wild about them either but having kids in high school band, we have wear them as well. We wore the khaki shorts this week and the other band did not. After halftime, their band was have serious heat related issues. Saturday wasn't as hot but it really has become a safety issue. We are scheduled to wear the full uniform this Friday night and i'm putting the over/under on kids to the ambulance at 2.5.
"After halftime, their band was have serious heat related issues." I saw no issues. I could be wrong too. (<---- Ignore that)
The suits are more breathable/comfortable than you'd think and jackets are frequently taken off in the stands. The only time I had an issue was when I had a sinus tumor and already had problems breathing that year.

A real band doesn't need microphones and stadium speakers in order to be heard in their own stadium.
A real administration doesn't put the home band in the worst seats regarding sound dispersal. Literally no one likes the whole situation with that.

SMU should be thanking us. We brought a lot of people and a real band. They will get theirs next year at Apogee in front of 300 of their fans.
A real band doesn't wear khaki shorts.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm assuming this is directed at me since I posted the pic. First off, all I did was post a pic from my POV in my seats since you said you didn't have one from yours. I didn't post any conclusions from it. I have no idea what our upper bowl looked like because I couldn't see it from my seats.
I have know idea what your Twitter rant is about. I rarely ever do anything with Twitter and I'm pretty sure you and I have never crossed paths there. Not sure which of us has more experience with "real life".
My assumption is that you either have me confused with someone else or just need to clarify who your rant was aimed at. I've liked having you around here, which should be evidenced by the number of +1's you've received from me on your posts.
Mea culpa. I r dumm. Meany comment wasn't intended at you.
I bet you know all about real life. Oh, but wait, you went to SMU. You know absolutely nothing about real life. Also it wasn't hard to find you. I literally just searched Twitter because your posts were funny. Instead I found out you were a neckbeard red piller. Shameful. Not really unexpected though. #gamergate #gamerghazi #quinnspiracy #notanMRA
What does any of that have to do with football or ethics in journalism? Ya gettin' downvoted by more than just me bruh. Chris Walker probably doesn't like your comment about beards since his is pretty darn epic.

I would say it was half full at the very most. Plenty of empty seats.
I agree on empty seats. I disagree on half. UNT upper bowl however was sparse.

go tweet some more about the "war on gamers"
Creep much? I assume you stand with that SJW pedophile, the abusive feminist game developer, and lying culture critic too. But that's off topic. If your attitude towards my twitter is any indication, you don't care about facts as much as the message. News flash- "feelz not realz" doesn't cut it outside of the social justice hug box. Welcome to real life.
If I didn't internet know you, I would think this was a troll post. I expect better from you.
Internet knowing is the best knowing.
I liked Amazing Grace on the bagpipes. I also thought the choir sounded great signing America the Beautiful. It was pathetic that their band has to be microphoned and run through the PA for people to be able to hear them when they were in the stands.
For some gawdawful reason they decided to pack the students and band off in the gawddamn corner where the visiting bands used to sit. Literally no one likes it. "Hey guys, let's give the visiting bands better positioning so we can't hear our own!"

Well played.
But you just know that a true SMU fan (like the rich people up north during the civil war) would pay someone to stand in for him.
I ain't rich though :(

Hi, I'm Malonish, I'm just here to make sure you don't exaggerate the amount of fans you had from my viewpoint. Cool. I'll go back to spending way too much time on yalls board.
Haha, mainly in jest bud.
Hi Malonish! We must be related. +1'd
I get bored, get on boards :D
Obviously I'm happy we won but you guys need a new offensive mind. Get on the interweb tubes and voice displeasure at your admin. My friend went to UNT so tangentially I want you guys to get better. If two 6+ win teams are battling for the Safeway Bowl, that's good attention for both teams which means more $$$.

As a personal aside, I'm sorry our team embarrassed in front of your friends and frenemies in ink-stained wretch land. Someday, we'll all learn never to believe in anything, ever.
You could easily be mistaken for an SMU fan.

We owned Ford dude...... GO UNT
The loud was real. SMU folks can't chant for shat. However, population numbers were in SMU's favor.

I gave up on this coaching staff and coach Mac....... We almost packed Ford stadium with GREEN, we were loud and stayed until the end of the game!! Me and 10 other recent graduates (Friends) have not missed any home game since Apogee was opened and we have been giving donations since our Freshman year which was 2009 ....... We did our part as fans!! That is it. Sorry
We decided to not go to any of the games again until this bull shit is fixed..... So frustrating!!!!
Go North Texas..
True. Solid numbers to make a 60/40 SMU/UNT crowd. For a 4-8 team to travel that well was kinda cool.
Make sure to email your AD if you feel like a coaching change should happen. Same thing happened with smoo. It finally became evident that the coach was not right and the money providers weren't going to support with him at the helm.

Well sir, I was in 123, and to my left was green, until the smoodents, that 50% left at half...to my right was all green to a little over half the end zone. Dead ahead was the smu home side that was about half full. Cheers to the colored seat backs that confuse the eye.
I'm calling BS on your home side half full statement. I knew I should have taken a picture but it's too late. I guess I just have to deal with the salt.

Oh damn, now you've answered a question I was afraid to ask. You've confirmed that this was on TV.

Damn it, I stood in that SE corner for like three minutes yelling "MALONISH". Where were you, bro?
I got put at the bottom row because I didn't get to choose my seat. Sorry man, the beard didn't deserve that treatment. The choice to slap the band in that corner was atrocious.
I'm also surprised none of the old people who got put in the upper rows recognized I was being sought out. No one else has close to MAL in their name.

The hardest part about this is figuring out what I am going to do for "weird sacramental rites."
What about Sacramento rites?

Just wanted to give a shoutout to myself for calling this bs.
Good foresight.

^^you are high^^
I was at the southeast end of the horseshoe and could see the whole stadium without turning my head. UNT had a solid from the middle of the top of the horseshoe to halfway down the east side where smoodent section began. Home side was as densely populated as the green parts + smoodents and band + most of the grass/general admission on the open south end. Easy to see.
UNT fans had some good chants and got decently loud. UNT team made them be quiet though.

Good student/ UNT turnout. Almost had as many green as there were red/blue/douche shirts.

I had heard rumors about that. You can always get ride of the taste with mouthwash... or Jack Daniels.
Malonish Reaction:
Not sure what you're implying. I'm just good at oral reports.

That's probably not helping...

college football would barely exist if players were dismissued for smoking and missing class. College players get multiple chances with testing. I doubt SMU is any different.
So June jones, who barely cared about the team, all of a sudden cared in this situation?and got rid of a person on the 2 deep...
That doesn't quite add up.
Just think, it was bad enough that lazy ole June actually did something about it.
How did you get re-admitted? I assume there is some sort of standard "I Dun Goofed and Now Daddy is Paying for a Library" form at SMU.
I did really well in "private tutoring" with my professors.

Writing on the wall kept people from that game. There should be more next time if the season is decent.
