I'm just excited that they have a good chance of playing in the HOD bowl. One last (home) game for these guys and we should be able to get a lot of people out to the bowl game to show support them. Maybe some local recruits can come out and see what UNT has to offer. I like to see us play Oregon State only because they are a higher profile team than the Orangemen.

What did you think about Betglund in the fall camp scrimmages? I thought I remember you saying you were present for at least one of them and Berglund looked the best.
As far as what I saw, he threw a tight spiral on all his throws and made plays with his feet when the opportunity presented itself. There has to be some reason why he's been over looked as far as the back up goes. It could be lack of playbook knowledge or maybe there is something behind closed doors that hinders him from getting PT.

There are some exciting possible transfers coming!!!!!!
Who are the possible transfers?

Berglund has a better arm and is more accurate then anyone we have on the team. Fact!
Not to mention he has legs that can create plays and opens your playbook to were you can run damn near anything. You can't run the read option with DT because DT runs like he's hauling bolders behind him. Whether it's Berglund or Williams, either one will broaden this playbook and when you open your offense up you tend to get more and more athletes to come to your school. But hey guys Bowl Bound!!!!!

I have been Anti-DT all year and still am. The reason we are 8-4 is strictly because of our defense and with out them who knows where we would be. Our ground game won today not Thompson. He is still unathletic and lacks ball control. Yeah he is one of the top leaders in a bunch of all time passing stats but if you start as many games as he has, of course it will add up. That's great that we have won eight games and I couldn't be happier for this program. I also couldn't be happier that DT is a senior. Long live coach Mac!!!!!

Loss to UTSA will not hurt us in Texas and it won't get any worse than it already is. And with a UTSA win over us won't help them over us In recruiting I wouldn't think. UTSA has poor facilities and no tradition. Not to mention the academic side of things, we are night and day better than them so I am not too worried. Ol Dan will take care of business, we will beat Tulsa next week and go to a bowl game and then will go into February with some fire power. UTSA on the other hand will just go back to their trailer parks with no hope in life.

Can someone please tell me when we were on defense the last time did Dan Mc call a timeout. Does the clock not automatically stop after a offensive penalty???
Also I wish our OC Conales would pull his head out of his ass and make better play calls on third down. I mean a shuttle pass twice??

As long as we can play good defense and run the ball with success which will take the ball out of DT's hands and limit his mistakes, we will be fine. These peckers have shit for brains.
UNT 38
UTSA 14

We just need to win out and the football gods will take care of us.
If we win out, ECU loses to NC State this weekend and beats Marshall, who will host the CUSA game?

WTF? For a home game?
I went in this place once and it was all UT. Go to hell.
Agreed, this makes me sick. Pour house is what is wrong with Americas Youth. No Respect

Lived in Denton my whole life and a long time North Texas fan, 2010 Grad but just discovered this website though. I'm glad I did because I love seeing people just like be that live North Texas and bleed green. My dad is also a letterman and his last year was Fry's first year.

I went to the scrimmage yesterday and was not impressed at all with Derek Thompson's play. He never threw a tight spiral, his arm strength was poor and his accuracy is on par with a high school QB. I don't know what the coach saw but hopefully once he goes over the film he will come up with a true #1. Dajon looked very good with a strong arm, good accuracy and super mobile. He is young and has tons of room to grow and needs to get better at handling the snaps because he fumbled a bunch of snaps during the scrimmage. Brock I thought stood out more than anyone. He has a strong arm and can run the ball so I am definitely drinking the Berglund Koolaid.
