All has gone quiet on the North Texas front with a game with UAB coming. Are we that deflated we just want the season to end? Happy Thanksgiving everyone and travel safe.

FAU has done something most mid majors can't do, Keep their team together and start out the year like they have played together. I think if Tyler would have stayed we would be a better team for it. But money talks and I think that is why there are a lot of upsets early. The teams are heavy in the portals and the teams have to gel together. We were the same way last year. When Kai was playing his first games I thought this guy is not that good. Once the team came together Kai was very good. I am hoping the same for this year. This last few games were disappointing but we have room to turn it around.

I remember having this same discussion last year , it takes a new team a while to gel. With the NIL it is causing the early upsets. A lot the lower schools keep their team together while bigger schools do of transfers in and out and it takes awhile for them figure out each other in the early games.

I am gong with 4775 but it will be announced higher. Disappointing season, the students are gone for thanksgiving and others will be washing their hair. I love take a beatings as a fan so I will be one of the few there.

it is the same story every week it seems. If we just had a bad defense we would probably have more wins. just replay the Memphis game over in your head. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know.
If I am the opposing OC I dont know if I would ever pass against us. Just pull the Buick out and starting running.

Well no bowl so now is the time to make a change at DC, I dont know if have someone on the staff that can take over for him but I volunteer for the rest of the season. I couldn't do worse.

Not hard to figure out why we are. Especially when in the last two games I thing the other's teams backs have about two hundreds between them on the first five plays of the game.

When you are down at the bottom it is time for a change. why because no one could do worse. I dont see a change though because coaches tend to ride their hires into the ground even when there job depends on it.

UNT will score alot of points but the other team will score more. I go with that prediction going forward.

Dr Harris is a smart QB and I am glad he finally going to be out of UTSA. He keeps his cool and knows when to throw it away. I think UTSA has much replacing him as we did with Mason Fine. Wonder if Traylor will take a big payday somewhere else while he is looking good.

I was watching the highlights from the Tulsa game and it could have been the same highlight from ever game it seems. I am not sure who is out of position or what happens. The play I am talking about is when the other team running backs goes to the outside and there is no one near him. This play has been run over and over and it usually gets large amounts of yards if not a td.
I was watching the Tulsa highlight and I am not sure if the de or lb gets sucked into the inside. I was taught a 100 years ago that you dont let the running back get outside instead force to the inside where you have more help. As many times as we have seen it we can never stop it. It usually happens in the first half of the game. I dont know what changes in the second half but the play is not as successful in the second half.
Any experts know what is going on when that happens? I dont want to hear from the DC because if he could fix it i would not be asking the question.
