  1. I wouldn't leave the team in Van Exel's hands. He runs too hot and cold, plus the Mav's don't need another outside shooter. We need to find a strong inside presence that is good defensively, rebounds, and is a good passer. This team has plenty of scorers.

Now, if Minnesota wanted to give up Wally for Van Exel, I would take that offer. I just don't really see that happening though.

Wally is like Nowitzki, only with defense a little more precense inside.

  2. On a more serious note, are the days of the great rock guitarists gone?  You just don't hear much llead quitar music anymore.  What happen to the sounds and  styles of Hendrix, Schone of Journey(1971 at the age of 14 performed in a studio in front of Santana and Eric Clapton and both attempted to hire the young man on the spot),Van Halen, Rhodes, Tipton/Downing, Carlisi, Hagar, Santana, Mars, Clapton, Bettencourt, Satriani, Ray Vaughn, all with their own types of lead style licks and riffs in Rock?  I don't hear anyone talking about it on the radio who's the best, or DJ's playing licks in certain songs over and over just for fun like they used to.  From the 60's through the early 90's there were different styles of lead Rock guitar.  Each new generation adding to what the past had taught them but it seems to have died sometime after Stevie Ray left us. Now the guitar seems to be only used for rhythm.  Any thoughts?

the living end, oasis, hot rod circuit, bad religion, rival schools...just a few bands i can think of whose lead guitarists stand out to me.

  5. Whats it about?

about a NYC guy (Edward Norton) who's about to serve 7 years for pushin heroin. Its the 24 hours leading up to his departure to prison. It really gets deep into all the characters, and some of the plot is finding out who ratted on him. Good stuff man.

  6. Anyone a current undergrad, graduate, or former student who was involved in public administration. I have a 10 page essay due May 2nd and I need ideas as to what would fill up those 10 pages. It has to be about a current problem or crisis, and the evaluation, implementation of the plan, and possible or resulting effects of a plan or plans. Any help would be great.

  7. Names?, what names? All we said was that the military was preserving your right to burn your draft card. But come to think of it, I do have a few names now. tongue.gif

i think i covered that. The military isn't fighting for my right to keep protesting, its fighting for oil.
