I found a phone once on the way to work in the GAB once. The battery was near dead so I turned it off so I could call somebody from it later. When I turned it on it had a key code lock, and the password was not 123 like it usual is!! It must suck to loose your cell phone. I know I keep all my numbers in mine and never memorize them.

But on the real, there have never been more than 6 cheerleaders scheduled to cheer. I think for a couple of games there were 8 scheduled but for the most part the games have 6 cheerleaders scheduled to cheer.

... and if you start feeling bad about not having a job, it only took me 8 months to land my current gig. I also looked for internships just to get my tiny foot in the door. My mad skillz got me in an ad agency for a while but they threw things at me. they did have a scooter though!
what do you mean they threw things at you? like rocks, paper? or are we talking to many assignments to handle?

btw Scrappy is two different guys. It amazes me that both of them can't make any of the games. I wonder if the RV put the nix on scrappy at the games for some reason, then gain I heard he was there 3 or 4 games ago. He was messing with one of the photographers for the Daily.

sooo Tempting. Every time I'm in Wal Mart and see the TExas and OU Afghans I tell myself if there was a UNT one I would buy it one the spot, and now that I see this I'm hesitant!! Darn those financial crunches!!

Check the DSVC or the Dallas Advertising League. Heck, sometimes I check university websites... you never know. UT System schools have good benefits.
If you try the Govenor's Job Bank, you have to learn cryptic job titles like "information specialist" (it can mean anything from graphic designer to grant writer).
Yes, DSVC is a very good resource. If you have the cash it might be good to join as well and network with people. Dues for recent graduates are only $75 a year. If you use the job board make sure you get a resume in the day it is posted. The site gets about 6,000 + hits a day. There is also a resources section you might try just calling organizations and seeing if they have any positions. You may even consider adding yourself to the resources list as a freelancer for only $50, but I think you might have to be a member to do that. Good Luck to ya though.

True, i was going by what I heard on the ticket ticker. I read what you just posted in the paper at lunch. I still think it will cause problems though when the build the new HS. The numbers will go back down.

I'm starting to think it is not aganist the rules to be on the court, this has been going on for a number of games now with the visiting team. Last night was rediculous though. I recal at one point the Coach was about 6 inches away from one of our players recieving a pass and the idiot just stood there. I'm sure you guys noticed it too. So what gives wit the refs never calling this if it is illegal?

We were at the game!!!
Ott cracked the guy almost in front of us, great hit! The whole thing got blown out of proportion, He was on the guy to give a good check and the guy turned in to make himself un-hittable but there was no time for Ott to react.
Best and most exciting 3rd period ever!!!!
yup, that was pretty much it, to me it looked like he was going for the hit to get the puck then passed it away, there was no time to stop. it should not have been a 5 minuite though, his shoulder wasn't even turned down, but at least we won!

Scrappy has been MIA for a long time now, I guess they scrapped him for basketball games.

I was right inside the key during that play and there was NO charge at all. That is the only time I think I have seen Johny Jones mad. He was about to hit the ref it looked like. I got a decent pic of him eying the ref down and one of the assistants trying to pull him back. That loss was soooo frustarting. I havn't been that frustrated about a loss since the stars 4 overtime loss to the Ducks in the playoffs.

This game was awesome! One of the few I have been able to see this year and it was grand!! I was happy to get to see such a great game! The Guerrin goal that started with a shot from mid ice was awesome!
