Make it easy for the customer(students) to get into the game.  Have them show their student ID.

All of the above.  Let them in any way the want...app, physical ticket, student ID, wink and a smile.  Students shouldn't have to even think about what they might need to get into the place.

  2. Could the expansion to a 12-team playoff result in 2nd, 3rd, 4th level football tournaments?  This would give ESPN a ton more programming.  Higher seeds host early rounds with existing bowls used for later rounds.  Interest would remain higher for longer for many more teams/fans.  How many teams currently end up in bowls...84ish?

    National Championship - 12 teams

+ 3 more levels at 16 teams each = 60 total teams involved.  You could still have bowls for the remaining teams that don't make one of the tourneys.

One reason I like this is more games between P5s and G5s.

Speaking of which, I’ve seen the following flag pop up a couple times sold as a flag as well as on some merch.  Not sure who thought this was a good idea, but it needs to be buried before it appears on anything else.

Um.  The greens are in the wrong positions...assuming you can call that color on the left "green".

I would like to see The Mean Green Club become a thing again within the Athletic Department.  It was donors but also had a social aspect to it.  Wren changed it to the MGSF and we lost another part of our history because of it.  Keep the MGSF too if needed but The MGC needs to return!

Yes!  I always felt like I was a part of something with the MGC.  Surely, tax laws don't dictate what you call your donation program.  Change it back.

An aside for those that what NT to be a basketball school and drop football.  I know that is very few, but was a  prevalent topic years before.

Look at that UTA crowd and the announcers thought it was great compared to their norm.

That was supposed to be 2000, looked more like 500

Most of the not-UTA-students in the crowd were wearing green.

A much better statement would have been, “he may talk with them”. Saying “there’s no guarantee he would take the job if offered”, is a BIG NEGATIVE to me.
Some may see it as a pre negotiating tool. I see it as another case where we offer way over our heads and then get someone that coast for four years and there’s nothing we can do about it because we can’t afford the buyout.

    This is NOT our guy!!!!

"...sources close to Fuente have indicated there's no guarantee he would take the job if offered."

No one quoted him as saying that.  It's just some unnamed "sources".

Genuine question. If Seth was fired for plateauing and not continuing to elevate the program then why are so many unproven/mediocre candidates being talked about? I can get behind moving on from Seth if the narrative is that he wouldn't be able to hang with the top tier so we're going to get a top tier coach. But only two people on this list have experience being the head coach of a team that competed with the top tier. Why is there not more discussion on names like Paul Chryst, David Shaw, Ed Orgeron? Maybe we end up feeling like they're not the best fit but I'm just trying to figure out where the fan bases expectations are and why everyone's earlier outcry is not matching their current thought process.

With regard specifically to the names you listed vs. most of the others, most of us are looking for Texas ties.
