It was scored as a fumble recovery/TD by an SA O-lineman.
OK, that's an explanation I can buy. Don't understand why ref didn't say so.

I thought the replay was quite clear that he did not break the plane.

We're there any post game comments about what happened there? It was not explained by the ref. If UTSA had recovered in the end zone, then why was a replay needed? Where did the ball end up?

Good to know I'm not on an island when it comes to this beer. Absolutely undrinkable.
The label is terrific though.

I would recommend upper rows of lower bowl.

This one seems more reasonable. It's based on the Massey Composite.

I thought I would log on today and see thread after thread bashing the defense and especially the secondary. Our run defense is stout but we can't get off the field to save our lives on 3rd and mostly because of the secondary. What we thought would be the strength is clearly the liability. Plus we blitz a lot on 3rd down further exposing us. I'm sure the thought was our secondary is so strong we can leave them on an a island and pin our ears back and blitz but it's not working.
I, too, was surprised to not find more of this talk on here. The defense was horrible. I can understand that if you blitz, that exposes your secondary, but that means the QB is pressured. It didn't mean that last night. I don't get how DBs repeatedly let receivers get behind them.

Does it bother anyone else that the SOW is so far back on our green and black helmets? At some angles it looks like a blank helmet. We either need to shrink the logo or go with something that fits on a helmet.
Yes. I really like the helmet from the Iowa game with the oversized SOW. That looks much better. Undersized greeen SOW on black helmet = no bueno. It doesn't show up from any distance. I guess if the players like it and they're seeing it up close, then ok.

Here's another vote for Hoochies.

Possibly the ugliest uniform we've ever worn. Jerseys looked like they were supposed to be white, but we rolled around in the mud and then didn't wash them.

Under normal circumstances, when would Lamar leave for Denton ? Friday ? Thursday ?
GO MEAN GREEN
Under normal circumstances, Friday. In this case, whenever the road conditions are expected to be the best. If they think it will make a difference early Saturday vs. Friday afternoon, they'll likely wait. Purely speculation.

My daughter just moved to H-town two weeks ago for a job. She lives in far west Houston (Westheimer/Kirkwood/Richmond Ave.). Power on and no flooding so far.

What if....we let the "BIG" players spin-off, then the left-overs refuse to play them at all. That would put, what 50 of the money schools to simply play with each other. over a period of time, that will wear thin. We take the remaining 75 or so school, move up 30 -40 from lower divisions and make our own league....soon, the big boys will want to play in our sandbox. More variety in scheduling.....I think we may have something here....
Bingo...and why I don't think a complete split will ever happen. You think middle-of-the-pack P5 schools who regularly win six to nine games a year and go to bowl games are going to be ok with winning 3 or 4 games a year? The money might be good, but the alums, students, fans would have a conniption. Plus, the networks (or whatever media outlet is going to pony-up all this money) are going to have to dial back big time once they realize a huge chunk of the cfb fanbase has been alienated and isn't watching anymore.

How is field-level, endzone a "premium" location?

Anyone know if will-call tix are gonna be available at Dots tonight? Thought I saw that somewhere.

Took the train last time. Parking this time. Not a lot of info on the HOD website. For those of you who parked last time, was there room to set up canopies? Website says "no open flames". Are they just talking about campfires and such? Gas grills and heaters OK?

I hope they're throwing the video of the final drive up on every monitor/tv they can around campus. Talk about giving them talking points.
