I like "Snake bit at the Pit." A homage to the old Pit. Probably too long, though. Anything over 3 words can be kind of hard to chant. The shorter the better.

So, the three seed has the best OVERALL record? (After the division leaders.) I guess I thought it was based on conference record.

To sit in the section behind the NT bench, I believe you have to purchase your tickets from the Athletic Department. They will have some sort of marking designating UNT according to Gabe Kirkpatrick (I got his name this time). I would double check that, though.

I talked to the head ticket guy (name escapes me at the moment) at the bball game Thursday evening about tournament tickets and he said beside being less expensive, general admission tickets purchased from UNT guarantee that you'll sit behind the NT bench. The more expensive, reserved seat tickets will more than likely be on the other side of the arena. We are getting our tickets from the Athletic department.

I thought I would post this link for anyone interested. It's part of The Portal to Texas History, created and maintained by the University of North Texas Libraries' Digital Projects Unit. I found a picture of myself that I hadn't ever seen before and lots of other interesting NT people and events. Looking through several of these led me "through the corridor of years," and gave me new perspective on the influence and history of our University.

We had Desperadoes season tickets and they have been calling me nonstop. We did enjoy the games, but I'm planning on putting that money towards a larger MGC donation and a small stadium donation. We'll probably go to a couple Vigilantes games. (I like the Desperadoes name better, but apparently Jerry wouldn't let them have it.)

So to keep on topic, I work one Sunday a month and, of course, April 11 is it! I'm hoping to finagle a trade with a co-worker so we can go.

I made our reservation at the Hampton Inn in December. They didn't have anything at the Embassy Suites at that time. I checked back yesterday to see if anything had freed up and there are some two room, two double bed suites available now, I believe. I didn't check the Austin again. The Hampton is supposedly 6 miles from the arena area.
