The very first softball game held at Lovelace Stadium on July 12, 2013. All proceeds benefit the UNT Athletic Department and specifically softball. A great time was had by all! GMG!

UNT Football unveiled a new retro uniform to commemorate the 100th year of Mean Green Football. The uniform represented the four most successful eras of UNT football. Helmet with Flying Worm = Coach Hayden Fry; Two Green Stripes on pants = Abner Haynes; Forest Green colored jersey = Darrell Dickey era; Number font and no names on back = Mean Joe Greene

These are some of the items you can bid for either online or at the GMG Bowl X on April 13 at 10AM in Apogee Stadium!

As many of you know, one of our great former Mean Green players Johnny Quinn is a participant on the US Bobsledding Team which will compete in the upcoming 2014 Winter Games. I know all of us are proud of Johnny and his accomplishments, including his induction to the UNT Hall of Fame last year. #81 is now moving his game onto a global stage where he will represent both UNT and our entire country.

To do their very best, the US team needs our donations to help them get the best equipment and support. For a small donation, Johnny will personally sign an 8x10 bobsled picture for people to display at home or office as an appreciation for supporting an Olympic hopeful. He also has other photos as well - Green Bay, UNT, etc.

Game played on March 26th at Strickland Elementary in Denton Texas benefiting UNT Cheer.

C-USA held their media day in Irving, Texas on July 24 at the DFW Marriot Hotel.

From time to time we come across some great deals on very HIGH quality merchandise which we share with our members online. Items can be purchased with PayPal and NO CHECKS ACCEPTED. There will be limited supplies available so if you snooze you lose. Terms and shipping costs will vary by item.

FORMAT: Slo-Pitch and Co-Ed (open to one and all)

PLACE: UNT Softball Complex at Mean Green Village

COST: $25.00 per player which includes the first ever GMG.COM Softball World Series T-Shirt!

PROCEEDS: UNT Softball Scholarships
