  1. We have a fan who follows the Lake Travis team and sent me an update on our verbal commit Hunter Siddons. Unfortunately, Hunter suffered a concussion early in the season and has been in shorts on the sidelines for much of the year. I can't tell you how much of this is precautionary or just that he is physically unable to play. I know that with the Boone Feldt situation this is the last news we want to hear but I wanted to let everyone know. Interesting to note, Lake Travis is still winning and if they make it to the playoffs they very well could end up against Dajon Williams and Pflugerville Connalley.
  2. For the second time in the last two weeks, an Austin football recruit has decided to play at North Texas. The Denton Record-Chronicle reported on Tuesday that Lake Travis offensive lineman Hunter Siddons had given a verbal commitment to the Mean Green. Last week, North Texas secured the services of Connally quarterback Dajon Williams. http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/varsitynews/entries/2012/06/29/lake_travis_sid.html?cxntfid=blogs_varsity_news
