The 6-2 Ward, a guard from Philadelphia (Electrical & Technology Charter HS / Palm Beach State College), will continue his basketball and education at the University of North Texas in Conference USA. Ward is second on the team in scoring and assists with a 17.4 points per game average and 46 total assists. He has also hauled in 3.4 rebounds per game.
