I'm guessing you forget the injury problems that Rodge had at UNT.
Does anyone know for sure if this is a scholly offer of a preferred walk on?
Hopefully Fine beats the odds.
Right but I really believe if Rodge didn't feel the need to run head first into defenders on every other play that broke down he wouldn't be injured as much. He was competitive but not in a smart way unfortunately. Let the running backs do the running. 5 yard scrambles with a slide at the end can be very effective.

For some reason I don't think Coach Littrell listens to Midlake.
I hope he doesn't listen to Southlake either. So this QB is a RileyDodge2.0? I just hope he is willing to slide on his runs.

Seems like the perfect profile for guys we seem to be going after now, some service academy, sun belt, CUSA type schools and one very far away in Boise State. We should be able to steal if he is thinking about playing close to home.

I just cancelled FIOS cable recently (outrageously expensive with DVR ) and went to SlingTV and never looked back. It's got ESPN/ESPN2 and a handful of others, CNN, HGTV, etc. for $20 bucks a month and I also have netflix. Done.

Wow this is exciting - so this means he can start in the spring, correct? I think we may end up getting some Allen fans show up similar to what happened when TDodge was here. Any attendance boost would be great. Who knows, maybe we'll actually win some games and keep those fans around.

Hey now, a lot of excellent bus drivers have come out of US Truck Driving School!
You can't deny that these guys bring a lunch pail to work every day. There's something to be said for that kind of work ethic.

I'm still interested in any restaurants that have not offered but it's come down to these for joints for my dinner:
I think you're in the wrong state for this. However, you will be in the right place (a restaurant) after your first course.

haha, I know what it is. I was just being a jackass. We need to move music and art buildings out onto Discovery Park. Better yet, Fair Park.

I give it an A at this point based on transfers and staff, but it is probably too high, I probably should have said B+ now that I rethink it.

Another shot at a national championship ring. Free bowl swag. Hot dames.
As if he wouldn't legitimately have a shot at all of those at UNT?

The buyout will be reduced by whatever he would be making at BC. If his pay there is less than his UNT base salary then we owe him the balance.
So help me out, Dan had 3 or 4 seasons left? How much would a BC DC make? $250-350k? So this could save us anywhere from $750K-1M if he gets a contract for 5 years? That could be big.

So if he does get this position does that mean we no longer have to pay the remainder of his contract? Thought I read that on the internetz at GMG.com

Whatever QB we recruit needs to have some of Riley's heart and determination. Maybe a little more on the size side though. Ok maybe a lot more. But heart and determination to win, damn.

Here is a sneak preview of Ekeler's defensive team meeting.
WOW I really DO NOT approve of the uniform changes Ekeler designed. I thought we got rid of the copper accents years ago?

When the day comes that RV is gone and we are 5 seasons into winning 9+ games, what will UNT90 post? What will this board be like? Does he survive? Does he have an identity crisis?
Well, in the Mean Green village they say – that UNT90's small heart grew three sizes that day. And then – the true meaning of Football came through, and UNT90 found the strength of*ten UNT90s, plus two!

I remember there being significantly more mean green fans that showed on that UNLV side at one point. One of the endzones (not shown) also had a large group of fans as well. I'd say 36K is not that far off.

I saw one of these on the road for the first time this week.
Actually, DUH, this would be the perfect Mean Green Machine. Mean + Green !

What a fantastic idea!
How about we offer bricks similar to the alumni pavilion for $150 each along with a commemorative keepsake (actual cost to make less than ($15) for each brick purchased with that person's name on it.
I'd be in for one. I'm sure many would contribute to have their names put on bricks surrounding the statue. $1,500 or something for bricks around the very center. Less as you go outward from the center. Something like that.

I was wondering who would be the first to say it......
As Randy Galloway used to say, "Can we move along now? Move along in a hurry please?"

I think we need to fly a banner advocating this hire. People need to know, you know.

So then I think we now need to root for UNC to lose.

I feel surprisingly good about all of it. I feel this entire process is totally in Smatresk's hands and it's calming. I am expecting announcement to be made Sunday. For all we know Litrrell is already putting his staff together.
Dude if you get my hopes up even .001% only to be crushed. I won't be able to help you. It will be your job man.

Whelp, can't really disagree with much here. If it comes down to coaching then I'll be really curious to watch the Spring game. If we're seeing disarray and dropsies, look out.
