Want to see a Washington win

Because we play defense… apparently some refs just don’t like that. Even when we stand straight with arms up. A couple missed calls go against us and 4-5 no fouls called on us…. Still managing to hang in there though.
was not aware we were the only team that played the concept known as "defense"

These gotta be the most ticky tacky fouls getting called on us, lord have mercy
I agree but somehow we manage to get in foul trouble every single game

UNT offense is like a Texan trying to drive in snow, they start off hot and fast, but eventually crash and burn

Good start but not confident. This team needs to prove they can finish games and maintain leads

I went to uofl for grad school... massive arena downtown off the river... subsidized by the city.
However, the former AD was happy to put corporate sponsors on just about every building and was great at fundraising.
Funny enough, I am actually looking at UofL for my grad school as well! I feel like they have such a special advantage with being the only game in town within a city that lacks pro sports.
I have always heard UofL is opposed to an NBA franchise coming to the city

Geez, was thinking with this and the FedEx forum, is there a program in the country that gets more benefit/assistance from its surrounding city than the Memphis Tigers?
The Louisville Cardinals

I am studying abroad in The Netherlands next semester so I'll likely be less active on this site. Your wish may be granted

Good riddance. The majority of our players leaving were told it might be better for them to move on. Hell most of them are getting FCS offers. Only a few are getting FBS looks (Miner, Febehchi, Maclin, Rogers, Adaway). If they can't handle the environment at North Texas, good luck playing at a lower level school.
You can't type with a straight face that this 5-7 coaching administration looked at Adaway, Maclin, Rogers, and Miner and said "yeah it's better if you left"

Have we ever stopped to consider the possibility that these players hate the atmosphere of North Texas and genuinely wanted to get away from Morris?

Exactly a year ago today.
North Texas didn’t have a head coach
North Texas had no Recruiting Class
No Chandler Rogers or Ethan Miner on North Texas roster
Ayo had never rushed for 1000 yards in a season
Maclin had never had over 400 yards receiving in a season
Landon Sides was enrolled in HS
Moral of story is there is a lot of time between now and August 2024.
What do you think Mean Green fans would say in December of 2023 if you were to ask them about their predictions about where UNT football would be in December of 24?

The majority of these kids are being misled with bad advice and don't give a second thought about their education. As I have mentioned, the cost of tuition, room/board, books, meals, snacks, pre/post game/practice nutrition, tutors, clothing, healthcare, etc... is plenty. Tired of the Me mentality that so many have, of them saying one thing and then turning around and doing the exact opposite. What would be best for 95% of these kids is to attend a school that provides a great education in the field of study that interests them because they aren't going to the NFL.
When you phrase it like this, then you have a complete and morally reasonable argument. I still don't think the anger and criticism should be directed towards college students however. Direct your feelings towards the NCAA and ESPN

True, but instead of trying to keep 85 spoiled brats pockets lined, we only have to focus on 10 or 12 with basketball.
Spoiled brats? These aren't just gladiators that go out there every Saturday for your own entertainment. These are college students that are actively looking to set the best course for their own personal success. Finances are a huge aspect of that mentality and while I am disappointed in the way the NCAA has handled NIL, blaming 20 year old college kids for taking money seems barbaric

It'll get worse before it gets better but I do believe the NCAA will adapt and settle into a state where G5 programs can be competitive.
Someone mentioned before, but UNT just needs time to invest into its football collective.
