North Texas head coach Dan McCarney has announced the hiring of Ryan Walters as the new cornerbacks coach. Walters, a former player and captain at the University of Colorado, has spent time at Oklahoma, Arizona, and Colorado over the past four seasons.

The school said that Cristobal was hired on Thursday as the Hurricanes' associate head coach and tight ends coach. It's Cristobal's fourth stint at Miami: He played for two national-championship teams there between 1988 and 1992, was a graduate assistant from 1998 through 2000 and then returned as an assistant coach from 2004 through 2006.

For the our OOC schedules from 2013-2019 that I have been able to locate/confirm thus far (per various sources) check out the following:

I actually like the jersey, but the helmet lacks something to be desired.

How accurate is this "projected" schedule now that some scheduling items are clearer... (i.e. it's now Dec and not May)?

Yeah, after taking his team to a bowl game a few years back, he was rumored to be in the running for the HC position at Rutgers at turned it down.

Interesting read as to the situation as to why MTSU is not bowling:

For the life of me I can't understand why MTSU is staying home this bowl season, and WKY is bowling with a worse conference record.
If the circumstances/situation (noted in the link above) are true then it is a sad day... and just one more reason it's good to be NT and heading to CUSA in 2013.

According to this article (source: http://www.sunbeltsports.org/Sports/MensSports/Football/Article/tabid/740/Article/19111/Sun-Belt-Conference-Reprimands-Instant-Replay-Officials.aspx)
"...during the South Alabama at North Texas football game on Saturday, November 10 as USA intercepted a pass and the ensuing return resulted in a fumble by the returner at the NT goal line. The ruling on the field was that the ball was fumbled and hit the end zone pylon – resulting in a touchback. The play was reviewed by the instant replay official and the call on the field was confirmed.
Video evidence later showed that the USA player fumbled the ball and the ball proceeded to go out of bounds – short of the goal line. The ball should have been spotted at the one yard line with a first and goal for South Alabama.
The two instant replay officials will be placed on probation and will be removed from consideration to work a postseason bowl game."

If you would have said that by WK 10 there would be three, possibly four (if we lose to ASU this weekend) Sun Belt teams with six wins, I would have called, "Bull Sh!t"
But man, I can't believe what I'm seeing this year from some of these teams... the Sun Belt has gotten stronger.
ULM (6-2), MTSU (6-3), WKY (6-3)... and knocking on the door is ASU (5-3)

Nice to see a fellow little elmer.

Found this article on the BleacherReport, and gave it a read through.
The video is awesome... I think we need to have something of this quality to get the fans pumped up before the game!

All Time LIst of UNT Players Drafted by the NFL
in Mean Green Football

I had contacted the owners of this site as I discovered this a few years ago.
I told him the specific players in that list that didn't go to NT, but rather went to UT.
They responded they'd update it accordingly. Glad to see they kept their word...
