That stadium was rocking in 2018. Then the team lost and the momentum for the season was gone.
The momentum for the entire program was gone.

28.5k. Remember for Littrell’s first game there were 24-25k. Add on to the fact that it’s a “P5” program, new conference, new stadium name, and also new coach. I expect a lot of people

Rubin is a good player for us. He’s been inconsistent at times this season, but when he’s on it adds an entirely different dimension to the offense. Him and Abou are really the X-factors

Doesn't school start back tomorrow? I'd think the kids would be back.

Why are we throwing names out like Keeler and Perry, if Riley, Gillespie, and Fuente are interested? Wouldn’t we hear something about them? From my perspective I don’t think they are interested. If true, then we’re in trouble

I mentioned him as a riskier candidate. Sad to see him go to ASU. I would have loved to see him at UNT in some capacity. Top tier recruiter, great HS connections, and untapped potential.

Rashaad Samples should also be considered as a more aggressive and riskier candidate

Has he ever been a HC or even coordinator. We need a guy with experience
If that was a prerequisite for most college jobs then Kirby Smart and Dabo Swinney would have never been hired

I don’t have a favorite. I don’t even have a list. But I want someone that makes me want to run through a wall for them. I want the energy knob cranked to 11. And I want the same for our future recruits, signees and transfers.
I know the stoic can get it done too. I don’t want stoic. I want high energy.
I want someone who wins

And to the downvoters; what do you want to see? An FCS Championship winning head coach not good enough for UNT? I would appreciate your thoughts as to why Keeler not good hire and who realistically in the school's budget range would be better and available.
Our budget is not a concern any more. It’s not 2003.

But being in a conference championship game is. This message board is full of the same middle-age group thinkers that has howled for every head coaching firing and thought the high school coach was the solution to everything.
Seth is a very good coach, unfortunately he hasn't proven himself to be a next level coach. UNT is a very good school/program, unfortunately it's never proven it's self to be a next level program/school. There is no golden era of UNT football where we won all these games and bowls. Good enough is good enough. You can't say you "deserve" better without doing things like selling out the stadium or booster club events. I was at Alumni Association watch party last name, it maybe at 50 people and I'm not sure it raised any money for the program.
Seth is that you? In all seriousness, you’re right the fans need to do more and support the program. However, when this team wins consistently, which is rare, the fans show out. In 2018 when we started off 4-0 we had 30k for a conference opponent that most fair weather fans don’t know. We also had 28k for SMU that season and 25-26k for the UTEP game. If we had the same level of success that UTSA has had over the last two years, support would increase exponentially.

I said this a couple of years ago to some of my friends and got absolutely destroyed. The only concern I have from a football perspective is would Briles be able to adapt to the change that has occurred in the last few years? I think right now there are some better candidates that would be better acclimated to the current landscape of college football

Garrett Riley would be a home run. I doubt we could get his services though

We don’t need to extend him. I would like to see how he does against the American next year. He still has one year left on his contract
