are you also pretty new to drinking? there is absolutely no reason to mix $40/bottle whiskey when a $10-12 dollar (read: regular Jack or Jim Beam...which I'll regularly drink on the rocks) alternative will taste damn near the same because of the coke...your hangover is coming from the added sugar in the soft-drink, not a cheaper whiskey. if you spend that much on a bottle it's because you enjoy it straight/on rocks...at most with a bit of (soda)water...or in something like an old-fashioned (even then, you're on the high end of what makes a good cocktail)

I've a marathon coming up in a few weeks, so I'll be doing my best to avoid the brown (doubtful)...had a buddy stash a 12 pack of Ruby RedBird cans ahead of my trip and will likely pick up some of the Austin EastCiders for the gluten-free missus 

Lol who said I bought the bottle? Actually I won the bottle of GJ in a bet at work with my co-worker.

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new on this forum and was wondering what everyone's beverage of choice will be at Homecoming? I'm going to be drinking Gentleman Jack with Coke to start off with. Depending on how the football game goes, it could change to Kentucky Deluxe real quick :)

I have a 11am UNT Lacrosse Alumni game over at the Peterbilt fields. After that, we will have the big green bus out by Fouts Field for tailgating and the annual boat race!

There are so many players out there who get overlooked because coaches play their favorites. I bet potential high school recruits are looking the other way right now and not taking us seriously.

My two cents, we need to bring in some young blood to this program.

I get that D. Smith had a terrible game last week, but shouldn't we be giving him and Conner Means some game time experience so they can gain that confidence and knowledge. Alot of people learn better hands on. I don't think a couple series, in one game is enough. I mean Im sure the kid was nervous and wanted to do good and just got the jitters, and ended up trying to do to much. The kid hadn't played a live game in almost a year.

I feel like if D. Smith would of played the entire game he would of had better numbers* than McNulty.

But that is beside the point, we need to be getting these quarterbacks on the roster to a point where we are 100% confident in their ability. why not take advantage of getting them game time experience, it seems like we are in the perfect situation to do that.

McNulty has had 5 years to improve, and hasn't. I'm not quite convince he can do it in 8 more games. McNulty is obviously the "Best quarterback" right now, but it doesn't mean that the "Best quarterback" will win us games. we should be investing in the future. I am not knocking McNulty starting, but at least give a few dedicated series to D. Smith and Conner Means each game.

I agree.

A smart coach would understand to develop the underclass quarterbacks and allow them to gain some game time experience for the future. McNulty is a 5th year Senior and is done with eligibility after this season! I don't want to hear "well he gives us a chance to win" because right now you are 0-4. Grow a pair and start being a smart coach.
