  1. It says that he is listed at 6' 169lbs are the measurables in vitos blog more current. http://iowastate.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=58446 here is some video on desmond courtesy of rivals http://iowastate.rivals.com/video.asp?pkey...amp;vidid=85074
  2. Also, he can probably dunk a basketball every which way. With his speed and leaping ability, he seems to be the perfect deep threat that Dodge will need in his offense. Someone who can attract a safety over the top and open up the middle of the field. If he can catch the football when we are inside of our redzone, he's the go to guy in a fade route to the corner. This is an exciting commit and I am sure Dodge will be able to hold on to him.
  3. This guy can high jump 6' 9'' that is incredible, it takes a focus, motivation and unbelievable natural talent to reach that height. Let's just say that this guy could high jump over Lebron James.
  4. You can say you saw and read it first on GMG, yes ladies and gentleman we do know now what half of our football uniforms will look like for this 2007 season. Just think how beautiful these helmets will look coming home to play FAU in front of rowdy 30,000 plus, with crimson and navy stick marks adorning the crowns of our valiant warriors. Like war paint our enemies will have a visual story conveying to them what our intentions are to do to them on the gridiron. At the same time, reminding our enemies of past struggles we have endured, along our travels to supremecy in the Division 1 ranks.
  5. These are not for sure I used an under armour template from South carolina site and colored it in myself. I don't know of the style, however, Todd Dodge believes you have to look good to play good. So I am trusting the decisions mad by himself and his coaching staff will protect and glamorize the image of the mean green football team.
  6. I didn't know there were Raider fans in Texas?
  7. How many taps do they have? Is it a college hangout? If so It sounds like my type of evening.
  8. YOU'RE 2007 UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS MEAN GREEN FOOTBALL TEAM!
  9. Wow! why is'nt the rock and roll hall of fame in Denton, Tx. That is an impressive list of local talent.
  10. That's what I'm talking about a cold beer and some great music after a huge win? Heck I may never leave. I have, I've been to dallas and the carrollton area three times I enjoy the dallas scene alot.
  11. Evyn is on campus and has been for a week and half now training hard and getting acclimated to the humidity and heat. "Workouts are very tough", but he's not hearing any complaining, "hard work each and every day is the only way our team will continue to build strength and speed going into camp at the same time I am still getting used to my new playing environment". He tells me that Denton is a really chill place to hang out and he is so grateful to be in such an exciting football environment. Personally, I am looking forward to coming out and seeing a few games, let me in on what I can expect, best place to stay, best restraunt in town, and besides watching the mean green crush their opponents what other attractions are there to experience? I have already learned the fight song and all of the other traditions and look forward to putting them to good use during the games.
  12. This is the best I could do with my paint program. I don't think the color is 100% at least I hope not. Haha!
  13. That's big news! Huge programs that have been staples with nike, all of sudden leaving? Does anyone know why? I know money is a factor but is every other company's gear really finally catching up to the quality of nike's?
  14. Wow! how talented you are agent Gideon, am I really that transparent. In response to the question asked about any clues as to who my mole is, I can only say, "When In Rome".
  15. I agree the new look with a dark helmet, dark face mask and black chin strap is tough looking. When you mix in the smeared eye black ( the real stuff not the fake strips) that is football. Not bright clean shiny white helmets. They are too rich looking for me, However, they are new and they represent Todd Dodge and where he wants to take this program.
  16. That research methods course in grad school has given me the investigative skills in regards to finding the images on-line. However, my inside information comes from a new signee who is on campus and ready to kick some tail this season.
  17. Those sound like the pants that were described to me. The pants look a little plain to me, hopefully, they have an accent pipping on the green and white pant.
  18. http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb224/d...-uniforms3D.jpg
  19. I have heard they will only have one pair of pants, and they will be white with a thick stripe starting behind the knee tappering up into a skinny pipping near the hip.
  20. They have officially gone after nike, after all it was nike who bit off of theri performance wear.
  21. Here's a preview, right now as we speak our boys are outside sweating working their behinds off because they believe. The student-athletes believe in one thing right now and that is their Head Coach. I have spoken with a player who has assured me that every player is focused and doing everything they can to be ready for camp. Intensity is up at workouts and weights are clanging. We can all remember those familiar sounds of the off season. It is this off time when all of us are so bored and don't have anything to talk about, but as we read the threads the future of our football program is developing at a rapid pace. When our boys run on to that field in norman with confidence and swagger and not to mention some bright new uni's. That is going to be our preview, that willbe our sneek peek into the next decade of mean green football. Finally, when we win the turnover battle and make that big play to shut up their crowd. Win or lose, those fans will leave the game having realized one thing "UNT is legit!", while we are all sitting with fat grins on our faces. Only wishing we could fast forward through the next few years and feel the acceptance and respect from all of the BCS programs.
  22. I wonder how much money UNT recieved for going with Under Armour? My guess is that our compensation was not along the same lines of Spurriers! Doesn't he make enough money? Now we get to see him in Under Armour commercials every saturday. I like these uni's they have a classic look to them, with a little edginess.
  23. University of South Carolina Partners with Under Armour to Outfit Football Program Relationship will provide Gamecocks with the most technologically advanced gear available Eric Hyman April 13, 2007 The University of South Carolina Athletics Department has agreed to partner with Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA) as the official outfitter of the University's Division 1-A football team, Athletics Director Eric Hyman announced today. Beginning with the Gamecocks' 2007 football season, the Baltimore-based performance leader will outfit the Gamecocks squad from head-to-toe in Under Armour performance apparel and footwear. The new six-year football-only contract with Under Armour is worth approximately $10.8 million ($600,000 cash and $1.2 million in product per year). The previous contract with Russell Athletics paid the University $450,000 per year and covered four sports. "This is a phenomenal deal for the University of South Carolina," said Hyman. "We had several companies interested in outfitting the Gamecocks. Through negotiations we were able to parlay the success and excitement that football has created to significantly increase the amount of revenue generated from our apparel contract. This is a football-only agreement that will have a residual benefit on many of our other Varsity sports." "As head coach, I'm extremely happy that we are associated with Under Armour," said Steve Spurrier. "This is one of the fastest rising companies in the country and the leader in performance apparel and footwear. The players enjoy wearing Under Armour gear and we look forward to showcasing the new uniforms in 2007. It's a real cool deal." Under Armour is an authorized supplier of footwear to the NFL and outfitter of now four top collegiate athletic programs that also includes fellow Southeastern Conference (SEC) member Auburn University, University of Maryland, and Texas Tech University, this deal strengthens Under Armour's commitment to on-field authenticity on all playing fields. "This is a big day for Under Armour and the University of South Carolina. We are proud to partner with the Gamecock football program and Coach Spurrier," said Under Armour Chairman and CEO Kevin Plank. "Playing in the SEC, you need every single advantage available and as the leaders in performance apparel and footwear, we like to say the Under Armour advantage is truly undeniable." Under Armour, known as the originator of moisture-wicking performance apparel worn by athletes on playing fields around the world, brings its expertise in performance apparel to their second team in the SEC. With access to the most technologically advanced apparel on the market, Gamecock players will be able to perform at optimum levels with Under Armour performance apparel and footwear engineered to wick moisture away from the skin, enabling players to feel drier, lighter and more comfortable on field and in the gym. At the 2006 NFL draft, 10 years after introducing a compression t-shirt that created a whole new category of performance apparel, Under Armour launched its first line of performance cleated footwear, CLICK-CLACKTM football cleats. Within weeks, the company surged to a 21% market share in a category traditionally dominated by two veteran players. The Gamecocks went 8-5 in 2006, including three straight wins to end the season. National championship-winning coach Steve Spurrier became the first coach in South Carolina history to take his team to a bowl game in each of his first two seasons. This year, the Gamecocks will return 17 of 22 starters and will open their 2007 season at home on September 1 against Louisiana-Lafayette. About Under Armour, Inc. 24. I found some lockerroom materials on imagemaker4u.com under their proofs section. The materials look to mirror the talk about our helmet change. http://imagemaker4u.com/Proofs/UNT-locker-tag-2.jpg
