  1. I agree, he hits, and I like his speed. There are a bunch of guys like him that UTSA is absolutely blowing it. This young man & Thad Thompson could end up being a punch in the stomach to UTSA when its all said and done
  2. Yes very important to enroll in summer classes, he needs to learn the SPEED of College Athletics just like he will need to adjust to the speed of D1 Football. He learned a valuable lesson in these last three months. He knows that performance in EVERYTHING is measured, and he will be judged on everything he does. He also learned that you must have a plan, and to stick to it. He was confused in the late stages because a few big programs made a late run at him. Buddies he played with at Steele play for these schools, he became intrigued with the idea of playing with his old mates again. Water under the bridge, he is ready to go out and represent the school in a positive manner.
  3. He has it resolved, taking the class now. Will be on campus twice prior to coming up for good in the summer
  4. Thompson did have an issue with one class, and it cost him. I beleive he will be committed in the classroom.
  5. A little more background on Thompson: Comes from a Military family, moved from city to city, country to country every three years of his life National level AAU Basketball player until family moved to Cibolo TX during JR year,, home of Texas football power Bryon P. Steele. Coaches there convinced him to switch to football Sacrificed for team bulked up and played WR & TE. Playing weight in HS was 217. Was fast, but not fast enough for the big schools, so he recieved offers from the likes of Mississippi State; Air Force; Sam Houston State and others to play H-Back. He refused so the offers were never posted Went to Scottsdale, lost 22 lbs, speed went from 4.67 to 4.47, you can see the difference in explosion from the HS film and the Scottsdale film Fell thru the cracks in recruiting, due to breaking collarbone the day before the Spring game, where 30 plus Scouts were there ( Including Coach Canales ) Hurt collarbone again 1 week before season opener but played thru it. Ranked 23rd nationally in catches/yds per catch Bowl Game MVP North Texas has a steal. Most of the big name schools did not find out about him until it was too late. Will be playing with a chip on his shoulder
  6. Was hurt during season. Also played with a fractured collarbone during the entire season @ Scottsdale Bowl Game MVP Flying under the radar, nobody knows about him. Fell thru the cracks. Now a few big name schools are reaching out, but its too late 40 Time is 4.47
  7. Take a look at the HUDL highlights of Thaddeous Thompson Visited this weekend. Dynamic playmaker
