On TV, two backs ran back to the punter at the same time, and the ref called it a motion penalty. Either way, Navy stopped themselves. on that drive.

They were trying to draw us off sides. I thought it was so obvious, but I guess at least one person was fooled!

Well sort of... we could only get them off the field when they helped us get them off.

If someone told me going into the game that we would give up 27, I would be feeling really good about our chances to win.

The offense, and offensive play calling, is what lost us this one.

Seth had the easiest schedule I can remember last year and I believe most of these players are his recruits.

He almost always won the games we should win (like last night's) and almost always lost any games that were on the bubble or that we were dogs for.

That would have us at 1-1, likely headed for 3-1 or 4-1.

Right now I expect us to be 1-4 at best.

Do you like to just play the audio on your device - perhaps at an altered speed - and lock your device screen while you work?

Just a hunch but, if that is the case, there could be a work-a-round, but you have to have YT Premium:

Users who have YT Premium can play videos, lock the screen, and the audio will continue to play (you might have to hit the "PLAY" button to resume audio....an extra step, but it works).

    Just throwing that out there.

There are plenty of workarounds I'm sure. But the good old-fashioned way is the best.

I will say, i have heard privately from a players parent that there are payments going out of the fund to some players. So something is going on, i'm just not certain why we wouldn't be more active about promoting it and the good it's doing.

It's a good ole boys club, and they're trying to keep it that way.

They'd rather it be an exclusive club, than one that serves its purpose to its fullest extent.

If he did walk away hopes it teaches him a valuable lesson in life.  Everyone is replaceable.  He lost a memory that would have lasted a lifetime for him.

We might not have gotten that far had he been on the court. In fact, I'm pretty confident that's the case.

That rating is good for 7th highest cable rating of the night in P18-49, which is all networks care about these days. Likely one of the, if not THE, most watched UNT basketball game ever.

For comparison, the Frisco Bowl in December did a .23, with 1,030,000 viewers.

Crazy UAB game right after was down to 79th, likely because it was later and being on ESPN 2. The high school basketball programming that came on after our game actually did slightly better.

Last night's ratings should be lower due to the time, network, and no "big" name school in it, and being opening day for MLB. Those will come out in a bit.

Last night did a .10 in the demo, with 370,000 viewers. Lower than I would have guessed. But with the national political news of the day, all the news stations did monster numbers during the prime time hours, in addition to MLB and NBA.

At least our ratings beat the 3 point challenge / slam dunk contest that came on before our game, although not by much!
