the more people talk about Dodge the more i seem to like him, i also feel that his hire would create a huge buzz around the state and might even get some national exposure due to success of the SLC football team
-
for the pit crew will there ever be any meetings to help organize stuff, if not ill show up to that Jan 11 game and join that section
-
freshman here, so class of 2010

i agree if we could get some of thsoe boosters people up here at UNT we could make the MEAN GREEN seen all over the country. This slogan is unique to this university and would be great to get it out on the national stage

I'm pulling for Dodge. He would bring us the attention of all of Texas. Just think of the recruits he would be able to bring in. Hell, we would end up with 4-6 SLC players for the next several years. And high school athlete has heard of Dodge and SLC. He would bring an exciting offense to NT. And seems as though he would be good with media, fans, etc. Nothing against the others but bring in a Texan.
i agree with this 100%, and to add making this hire would make national news bc Southlake is known nationally and i know ESPN would talk about it, also i remember seeing on another post about Dodge being a coach for the high school all star game, well that would bring us more publicity bc the announcers would talk about what a great hire it was and would get our name out there to everyone

i posted the link to voting on a UNT football group on facebook, so hopefully that will help

Ask her what she thought about the University of Washington's enrollment and alumni donor level increasing after the Huskie's played in the Rose Bowl while she was there.
Rick
i thought she worked at Washington State not UW. and with there enrollement they make alot of money or out of state people bc they only have a 67% in state popoulaiton. which im from that area and msot of my friends are going there and say that there enrollement is too big. another contribution to the high level of enrollement for UW is the lack of universities in the state. BUT to what this post was about, i think that having the President taking these trips are great for the UNiversity and hoepfully will bring more donors to the school in all areas not just athletics

yea we really need to pick it up and get some other sun belt teams help on this one, it looks like the WVU people are getting other big east teams

I understand that the players really wanted to wear all black. But when they saw the quality of the jersey they were very disappointed. Embarrassed may be a better description.
i think this is right that the players wanted to wear a black jersey if they had talked about it at the start of the season, but they probably assumed that they would have been like the green and white ones, instead they got the crap plain black that has pissed everyone off

could these people not be contacted because RV has already decided who to hire but has to wait the 30 days and after the BOR meeting today?

Does it make me a bad person that I'm having to resist the urge to vote for the girl from West Virginia?

After somore digging, my source, quoting a "reliable sorce" assures me that there is a deal done and it will be anounced after the HS playoffs are completed. You may now begin your attack on me for posting complete crap, but know that I belive it and not just because I want to.
who is this guy who has the "reliable source"?

I've voted a dozen times or so. (Hey, I grew up in South Texas where the motto was vote early and often)
But, what is a "Pre-physical therapy" major?
A pre-physical major is someone who is getting a BA here before going on to physical therapy school. And ive voted many times and i hope she can pull out the win

this is a name that i hadnt heard but looks like a really good canidate

i have seen Ryan Anderson play alot in high school, and last year while watching him play in the state tournament he was really easy to get off his game. when he wasnt getting what he wanted he would pout and be off his game, i hope we can get some defensive pressure on him so we can get him off his game
-
is there any chance this tour would help with alumi donationg to the school?
-
and espn 103.3 radio
*************
It just occoured to me that the Dallas Mavricks were here using our facilities during thier training camp. I would like to guess that our "TRUMP GUY" is Mark Cuban!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he could be right about the donation from Mark Cuban, he sure has alot of money and said he liked the experience up here so why not

yea the attendence last night was pretty bad, that was my first game so im hoping the rest wont be like that, and scrappy was there but that was one of the worst jobs as a scrappy anyone could have done
-
this looks really good, with one of them considering large schools out of the state and signed with us, very good signings for volleyball
-
what DD told his players is terrible, that is not something a coach should say, im glad to see him go and maybe we can add a coach who knows the vertical offense
-
i thought i heard that we might be getting baseball in 2007 or 2008 but not 100% on that, i hope its soon since any sport should help with every aspect of the school
-
yea im excited for this basketball season also, i didnt make it to the exhibition but for sure am going tomorrow night, and where do the stuednts sit you were talking about, ive seen those talons at the football games and it is terrible if that is supposed to be our schools "spirit squad"
-

-

i also dont see it as a knock, if these athletes are good enough to make a D1 roster then they should be able to learn the Dodge style of offense
