  1. Navy is going to be impressed with Fouts after seeing Touchdown Jesus and the cheap facilities that ND has to offer. All those engineering majors from Navy may not come out of the locker room because they are going to be checking out the waterless urinals and trying to prove mathmatically, if that is even possible.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Good stuff Dodge2007!!!

  2. If you are looking for the best in fine authentic Mexican dining, try Pancho's Mexican Buffet just south of the stadium.

    Raise the flag!

    (DISCLAIMER: By "best", UNTFlyer actually means "worst". As in, "Pancho's Mexican Buffet is the worst Mexican food ever, and if you eat there you will have explosive diarrhea, projectile vomiting, and severe vertigo for 72 hours. Do not eat there!")

    Pure hilarity.

  3. A view from a dueling UNT fan and TCU fan.

    The reason no one is noticing TCU these days is because for one, they aren't winning this year. They're looking at 4 or 5 losses this year and that doesn't equal time in the national spotlight. Another thing is, defence won't garner you attention. My dad and I have gone to many, many TCU games over the last 10 years or so, and we've seen this firsthand. Patterson places such an emphasis on the defensive side of the ball, and the offense doesn't get noticed at all. It makes the games boring most of the time, by the way. That being said, I think the MWC is where TCU needs to be. The MWC gives them a platform in competition, from where the CUSA was at, even though the public won't see most of their games.

    P.S. That's why I'm glad UNT has a new regime. The offensive scheme is much more exciting.

  4. I honestly believe NT will beat UL-M, MTSU, WKU and Florida Int'l.

    4-8 is not what any of us wanted. But it's better than the last 2 years.

    Call me PolyAnna, but I believe this team is on the correct track and some W's are coming this season.

    I tell you what...we better not take the Hilltoppers too lightly this season...they beat MUTS and played Florida tough...I'm sure we'll be ready.

  5. Several years ago we went after 6-9 Highland Park Postman Chris Young, but he chose Princeton instead. While he was in high school Young led Highland Park to the championship of the Dr Pepper Basketball Tournament. Young currently is a pitcher for the San Diego Padres.

    On a far side note (don't get too mad at me!), Young just got voted into the MLB All-Star Game as the 50th guy on the team. Pretty good accomplishment.
