Watching the game, fell asleep in my chair during the 3rd and when I woke up with about 1:30 left in overtime Dirk had 53 and had outscored Houston 10 - 0 in the OT. He was having a damn good game at the end of the half but I thought I was hallucinating when I heard his numbers. That is what we need (not always that big) from Dirk in order for this team to be successful. It is good to see that he is growing more comfortable being that first option for the Mavs. The need to keep working the ball through him and helping him get his shots. Nothing but greatness can be gained from it. Case in point, last nights 53 (a new Mavs scoring record). GO MAVS. GO MEAN GREEN

talk now is a three team deal with NY and Toranto that would bring Vince Carter here and send Antoine Walker to NY. Good ridance if they can make it happen.

Steven A made a good point on SC that Carter won't be traded for two reasons 1. He still is under contract for another 4 or 5 years with Toranto, they don't have to trade him if they don't want to. 2. You don't tradea guy that puts butts in the seat like Carter for someone who isn't a "showstopper" attraction. Toranto would lose too much fan draw by getting rid of Carter. Plus how many more guards do we need in a Mavs uni? The list continues to grow and we still haven't got a presence int he middle.
