University of North Texas Mean Green East Side/Oak St Oak St. Drafthouse tickets go on sale today.  We sponsored the young alumni section again behind the visitors bench on the 50 yard line (1st 5 rows) and we will be selling ticket packages for these seats.

Cost is $100 CASH and that gets you all of these great things:

5 UNT home game tickets                         (value at $75)
shuttle pick up at East Side before and after game  ($50)
UNT baseball t shirt                                                  ($20)
Ticket to SMU vs UNT game                                    ($15)
shuttle to UNT/SMU game                                       ($25)
beer after each game                                               ($25)

Come join us Saturday at 1:30 at East Side and watch UNT take on Indiana. There should be a food truck or 2 out by halftime. We will also be doing $3 Armadillo Ale Works drafts during the game. Seats were awesome and the young alumni section was loud and seemed to be doing a great job of picking up the slack on the heckling of SMU. The only small issue was that the shuttle didn't show up until 10 because they were waiting on the first train to come in but they said that it wouldn't be an issue next game and that it would be there 2 hours before game and every 15 minutes until it starts.

Safeway Bowl Shirts will be for sale for $15 at 9am on Saturday morning. All the credit goes to that ADMAN guy (whoever he is) and the boys over at Pan Ector Industries.

Silo on 7th will be home base all weekend which is owned and operated by UNT alum. Friday night for the Alumni Party. Saturday for pre game and we will also be showing the game. After the game when we upset Texsa and a brunch the next morning with green eggs and ham. Join us for UNT specials all weekend.

Pan ector is on the silo shirts with go mean green and we will have a few for sale. We have a flag but if someone wants to make a bigger one we can hang it on the silo and put the small flag upstairs on the rooftop. We will have a green light when we upset ut to light the silo up green as well. GO MEAN GREEN

[Taste of North Texas this Thursday at Super Pit benefits UNT Athletics]

Come check out the Taste of North Texas event this Thursday at the Super Pit. Over 40 different restaurants will be out along with East Side Social Club, Oak St. Drafthouse, Ben E. Keith and Miller of Denton with lots of good craft beer. $15 to get in and that gets you a sample from all 40 vendors and 2 beers. $10 for Military/student/Senior and kids 6 and under get in free. All proceeds go to UNT Athletics and Denton's Kiwanis Club. Come see me at the East Side and Oak St. Drafthouse booth and I might give you a t shirt!

East Side Social Club will be doing a victory party at 4pm after everyone gets back from Dallas. Lets get out there and support the mean green and bring back a win and then come celebrate afterwards. Hope to see you all there!
