  1. McCoy was working for Chandler Signs in Dallas. He worked in the maintainace dept. Everytime we had Chandler out to service our sign on the 20th floor, I told them we were big fans of Sarge. He has since moved on from Chandler and from what I was told wanted to move out of Texas. That's all I know.

  2. I just got back from LSU, where I'm about to start their MBA program and I had a chance to tour Tiger Stadium. It is an amazing place but Apogee is just as nice if not nicer in many areas. We don't have the size of Tiger Stadium of course, but the appointments and details are on par with many P5 stadiums. Upgrading the locker room will be yet another great addition to Apogee. One of the great areas in Tiger stadium is their NFL room. They have helmets on the wall from each NFL team that has signed a Tiger (with their name engraved on a plaque). Nice recruiting area.

  3. I'm sorry guys but our videos are student grade at best. Throwing out a green filter,   procedural clouds (at least use the filters by RedGiantSoftware) with the batman theme is not my idea of high quality work. Unfortunately, we been so used to mediocre performance in the AD's office and only the field, that we accept the same mediocrity of our media content. I never said it was a bad video. Just one aspect of it. I just expect more. They've always bothered me, especially with the solid reputation our art and media programs have earned over the years. We can do better.

@JRock and I are just speaking to the poorly microwaved, rehashed cut job.

The Littrell tag lines are great. But then again, if we're speaking specifically to what was included of Mac's contributions...

And for those who are like, okay but really why whine and not offer an alternative??

    Well here you go.

This is quality work. And before you're all yeah-but-it's-a-P5-program, here's the kicker: there are a lot of students, faculty, and staff that are producing content of this quality on-campus, just across the highway. Again, all the resources the AD truly needs to be successful are ready and available to them, they just continually shirk them off, silo themselves away, and produce crap - both on and off the field.

    You are exactly right. 100%

You can't be serious!? We put out a really neat and with the times video and you dog it? Sheesh

Oh I'm serious. You've just become used to the garbage we put out.                    #expectmoreofyourAD #Truth             #SoTwoYearsAgo

Yep. It's pretty sweet. I am not sure if they are going to put something where Stovall use to be or just create an outdoor common space there. I wish they would hurry up and complete the outdoor area of the union. The lag in that is way over the top. The new dorms are very nice as well. The university is starting to look like an actual university from the interstate. I wish UNT would just bulldoze that old sac n save building and start the grand entry way of UNT. They can find other office spaces on or near UNT.

Yep. We need some major curb appeal from 35 around that Sac N Save area.

Good video but they need to ease back on the green filters and smoke FX. That looks terrible.

Lol. Apogee doesn't need smoke and filters to look good. It distracts from the video and also breaks the continuity throughout the video with the rest of the footage. It's also dated since it was the style two years ago. I would think our production crew could push the creativity a bit more. I guess I expect more of our  media.
